Also idk if you noticed but he used all the s--- he was stealing and playing with from the spider society in that one scene to make a new watch which is why he was able to travel to Gwen's world even though he through his out when he quit.

I did think it was sus that he was stealing s--- but I didn’t put it together that he was doing that to make the watch. d--- they really put so many hidden details in

    Barbie

bit late but I loved it. I was grinning so hard in the beginning. I felt all my imaginary barbie stories come to life.
It made me laugh, it made me cry. It was great!

Watched on Hulu. A film with next to no dialogue spoken and a lot of effective camera work and color usage with a super unique ending for the genre. There's quirks about the third act and some reveals that I wasn't a fan of and I think the antagonists could've had much less generic designs outside of a couple parts.

Altogether a worthwhile way to burn an hour and a half if you're willing to engage with it. 7.5/10

Past Lives was a good watch. Very restraint and deliberate, and felt like a realistic movie showing the characters with subtlety in their development.

    The Wild Bunch (1969)

pretty good western about a man who plans his final robbery. this film introduced me to a couple older actors i wasn't familiar with before watching. it also has a few memorable shootout scenes that i thought were done quite well.

Possibly the best one in the franchise after the first. (Stopped following around 5 or 6)

^i like the saw movies too. i haven't seen them all because they've made so many that it's hard to keep up with. but i enjoy them.

    Stand By Me (1986)

this is a story about a kid who overheard his family member talking about a dead body in the woods and him and his friends decide to go see it. they encounter a few obstacles on their journey, but they help each other and find out how different their lives at home are. it's a good story that highlights how your friendships are typically better at a young age and once you get older you tend to lose friends or have weaker relationships with them than you had in your younger years.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is incredible.

Solid story that takes itself serious when it needs to, juggles a lot of characters while giving them all proper time, unbelievably well animated and stylized with a strong eye for shot composition and visual motifs throughout the movie.

    9/10 with room to grow

    Napoleon (2023)

this is basically a look at the story of napoleon. it really focuses a great deal on his relationship with his wife joesphine. the movie has its moments, but overall, i thought it was underwhelming. the battle scenes were just ok in my opinion. they all blended together/looked the same to me.

    Five Nights at Freddy's (2023)

this is based off a video game. i didn't know hardly anything about this film going into besides it was a horror film. anyway, it's ok at best. i thought the relationship between the brother and sister was cool, but besides that i'm not a fan. it was predictable and the horror was not scary at all. i guess that's what i get for going to see a PG rated horror film.

    Godzilla Minus One

This Movie is the best Godzilla Movie since the Original from 1954, it will instill horror into your soul. Godzilla Is Evil Again, is a representation of nuclear Bombs and makes you feel helpless while on screen. The human element of this story is about a kamikaze pilot who chickens out on his suicide bombing during WW2 and comes home to a post-WW2 rebuilding Japan only to be struck by the aftereffects of nuclear bombs in a giant monster.

    Wonka (2023)

good movie. timothee chalamet looks the part and I enjoyed his relationship with the little girl noodle. this film shares some similarities with the older films but it's mostly a different take on willy wonka.
