I recently revisited this movie. I loved it back then, and I still enjoy it. It's a really interesting movie.
One of Hitchcock's best movies. I still remember watching it for the first time when it was on TV years ago. It's phenomenal and holds up incredibly well.
I felt the same way when I first watched it. It's nowhere near as bad as some people make it out to be.

Hide and Seek is such a different role for Robert. He did great. And so did Dakota. Underrated movie and I liked the twist.

And yeah Million Ways isn't as childish as I expected it to be. @Boyz N The Suburbs

Yup. Theater here is spending a week screening things before the doc. They just cancelled the show for Bonfire, which I'm actually rly disappointed about.

They've done the same here in NYC, but I haven't had a chance to see any or the documentary. I've seen the following from De Palma. Any others you'd recommend?

Besides fury I think the blind spot here is casualties of war. Bonfire is.. An interesting failure and I haven't seen phantom or sisters

      Chimes at Midnight 1965
      ★★★½ Watched 12 Jun, 2016

Cinematic elements undermined through overuse of literary form within ill suited contexts. Dubbing aside, experience of the film is hampered by at times awkward speech & abrupt quotation seemingly contrived to suit the film's ends. A creative endeavor rife with symbolism which fails to immerse beyond its technical achievements in lighting and panning.

I don't care for Beyonce's music, but I cannot deny the conceptual gravitas and thus success of her malick-filtered pop culture opus.

Meditative and fragmentary, like the memory or dream being relived. Snow as physical and metaphorical obstruction of experience and re-experience.

it's slight, and sometimes way too broad/"random" for my tastes but i generally enjoyed it. worthy mockumentary, if not to the standards of spinal tap (or dewey cox; think of pop star as a cross between cox and a tpyical will ferrell comedy)

    maybe wait for netflix

the conjuring 2 , i was surprised of how good this was , usually sequels for horror movies are not that good
but this was pretty scary , people at cinema were screaming at many scenes

Independence day 2. Kinda s----d tbh. It had some good parts (Jeff Goldblum's Jewish dad is the most enjoyable character in the movie), but alot of really corny stuff too. At times it felt like I was watching a parody of the original. 5/10. By the way, the end of the movie hints that there will be an Independence Day 3. *yawn* An Independence Day movie without Will Smith is like D12 without Eminem. :emoji_cry:

With Hitchcock being my favorite director, I decided to go through his filmography once again. An amazing thriller, with amazing direction. Grace Kelly is the best and obviously was always Hitchcock's leading lady. Grant was superb in his role; just everything about the film's aura oozes classic.. 10/10

One of my favorite films..and an essential noir, if you're looking to start with this amazing genre. I must admit, I haven't seen this as much as I would have liked through out the years, but it's a great watch whenever I do..and this time is no exception.. 9/10

Saw the shallows earlier today, I'm not real big on shark movies usually. I watch one probably like once a decade but this was good especially if you do like them. You gotta kinda look past the semi awkward way they have her talk to herself or the animals at times basically to keep the viewer informed on what she's thinking/doing when some of these times the viewer could have easily figured it out anyways..But that wasn't that big a deal.

Overall I liked it for what it was, good movie. 8/10.
