    @YouBetterBelieveIt imo TPAB was more influential in Artists speaking out on social issues, in the realm of racism mainly
    it didn't really "bring back" funk

    Despite being very different (and so hard to compare) Tpab is honestly much, much better than Lemonade in almost every aspect.

    Tbh, tpab probably deterred other rap artists from making a funk or jazz influenced album. If a rapper as skilled as Kendrick couldn't execute it well, what chance do they have:idk:

    To p---- A Butterfly conveys much more varied and deeper emotions and styles. Lemonade doesn't sound great musically, it's not polished imo

    Also the genre-bending moments on TPAB were flawlessly done.

    Encore is far worse than this. Its a s--- album. But Encore started ALL THIS s--- from rappers using yelling, whiteness, and cornball lines were hearing today. It not only was one of the most awful ways to tell a story, to tell an album. but it was a huge flop and regarded as one of the worse rap albums all time ALREADY by many hip hop fans.

    You saying that LEMONADE is better is very correct and just true lol. beyonce may have a few of her song from this play on the radio but it will do more than Encore. Encore f---ing united stans more.

    And how exactly is it better? I gave it a listen and it doesn't come close to tpab at all.

    Musically speaking? Tpab "s----s" on it. It is probably of the most well produced albums in modern history but it's not really a surprise since It's basically a collection of some of the best jazz musicians, including arguably the two best today (Glasper and Washington) doing whatever they want with a seven figure budget.

    And the fact that she's getting all that blacklash from black people is the proof that she doesn't speak on issues dealing with race better than Kendrick.

    I'm fine with you enjoying Bey's album more, but saying its "better" doesn't make any sense to me. If anything tpab is in a different league musically
