    Disorderly Progress What's cookin?

    Jul 18, 2024
I don't really buy it but can kinda see it.

Try and play it, see how it plays...

    1. Somebody Save Me
    2. Guess Who's Back (skit)
    3. Tobey
    4. Bad One
    5. Head Honcho
    6. Guilty Conscience 2
    7. Breaking News (skit)
    8. Houdini
    9. Road Rage
    10. Fuel
    11. Antichrist
    13. Lucifer
    14. All You Got (skit)
    15. Evil
    16. Brand New Dance
    17. Trouble
    18. Habits
    19. Renaissance

It actually doesn't work bad in some respects - like 'breaking news' skit 'trying to get himself cancelled!', then comes all the Shady / cancellation tracks... might be something to it.

The more you look into it, the more it makes sense. Playing the album foward- Eminem kills Slim Shady, playing it backwards Shady kills Eminem. But if you look even deeper into it, every track backwards represents a timeline of his albums and has many references and allusions to that fact. If we are counting every studio albums, compilation album (Re-Up/XV) and movie soundtrack (8 Mile/Southpaw) and we minus Curtain Calls because those aren't new projects, plus leaving out the D12 and BME stuff.........this lines up scarily with the theory that Shady is time travelling backwards to k--- Eminem from the back to front.

    INFINITE
Somebody Save Me - This relates to Marshall's real life drug addiction around his 8 Mile - Encore era, however when listening in reverse it presents the story as his failure after Infinite and subsequent substance abuse / Suicide attempt.

Guess Who's Back- I don't think skits count in the reverse order count of 16 tracks compared to 16 albums, but it technically fits the theme of revisiting everything and this represents Ken Kaniff. I suspect Ken Kaniff originated between the time of Infinite - SSEP as he was originally played by the rapper Aristotle on SSLP before they had a fued, unconfirmed though but very possible.

    SSEP
Tobey- Self explanatory, Eminem got bit by Shady and started turning into a GOAT. Sleeping on floors after the rap olympics, working with the Outsidaz, about to get the god d--- belt, etc.

    SSLP
Bad One- Starts off the track by apologizing to Dre (Dre didn't even produce this song), however Dre did start his career. Tupac and Biggie being gone Sept 1996 & Mar 1997 respectively before the SSEP was released in Dec 1997, however not before it was recorded.
Furthermore- he is alluding to the fact that Biggie and Tupac died and that is when Shady was born as a god, and as well as a reference to Wu Tang that released 'Wu Tang Forever' in 1997 and were often lumped in the conversation as the GOATs of Hip Hop. Lastly, Aaron Hall released a project called "Inside Of You" by 1998 further playing into the theme of being possessed by Slim Shady.
If you think this is a stretch just remember how little in the past Eminem has repeated themes on his past projects... you would never hear him mention things multiple times on almost any albums... how many times around did he mention Diddy, Caitlyn Jenner, Candace Owens, etc, etc, etc he typically only did 1 subject 1 time per album, but because of the reverse theory he had more to play with.

    MMLP
Temporary- His highest success being MMLP is literally temporary. You could view the Skyler Grey feature as an allusion to Stan ft. Dido as well. "A lot of people ask me" is a continuation of the themes from SSLP's ending SDGAF and ending of MMLP (Criminal)

    TES
Head Honcho- Arguably at the tip of his career as a head honcho since his future decline was beginning at this point in his life due to the insurmountable achievements he had to keep up with. His sales of The Eminem Show sold 1,322,000 copies in its first full week.. one could call that an Ez Mil.
"And you wonder why is it that I treat a mic like a gat?" similar to his pistol whipping charges from the song Soldier.
"But America, I could see the fear in your eyes" White America.
"Yeah, 'cause as sure as Ma used to feed me Sleeping pills to keep me" it is to be noted he was taking sleeping pills to keep up with filming.

    8 MILE
Guilty Concious 2- This is when everything starts to take him over. Eminem's pill addiction began at this point in time when he was filming 8 Mile due to his hectic schedule.
"What shot is this? First, second, it's your third" meaning his 3rd album (this album is a movie soundtrack).
"And I know that Chris Reeves song was recorded in 2004 for Encore" which is foreshadowing the next track that represents Encore due to Slim's ability to time travel through portals as seen in the Houdini video.

Breaking News Skit- Skits don't count, however there was a lot news regarding Eminem around this height of his career and his placed appropriately.

    ENCORE
Houdini - "Little baby devil with the forked tongue" similar to Evil Deeds.
"Now back in the days of old me Right around the time I became a dope fiend" is the exact era of his timing.
"In my Air Max 90's" Eminem is referring to his Eminem Charity Series Air Max 90's released in 2006, however The Re-Up was released after them in December 2006, so it still fits the timing. The entire song is reminiscent of his attitude during Encore "f--- everything" and subsequently vanishing like Houdini during his rumored retirement and subsequent hiatus.

    RE-UP
Road Rage- "Yeah, I walk around more confused" this is notoriously known as the Pillenem era when he was doing borderline nonsensical interviews and appearances.
"Head empty as an empty abandoned apartment while I'm dancing around all these namеs and labels that I can't memorizе" further describing the situation.
"We should coddle fat people" Eminem was also gaining a lot of weight during this time and was almost unrecognizable to people. Also why would Eminem interpolate Juvenile's Ha? What an odd song to randomly mention.... quite a coincidence it was released on October 17 1998, I wonder when Eminem's birthday is by the way.................................
Lastly, Adult Swim released a show called 'Perfect Hair Forever' in November 2004, same time that Encore was released...and well it is kind of strange that Eminem has had perfect hair considering the rumors surrounding his hairline surgery. Ending the song with "Well then, f--- you, Chris Reeves, and the horse that he rode in" is foreshadowing Medicine Ball on the next project-----

    RELAPSE
Fuel- Often referred to as the split from old Eminem to new Eminem where a lot of fans abandoned him for running out of fuel... (personally Relapse is my #1, but I digress).
"For a couple decades (Brrt) Been lettin' this TEC spray (Brrt)" is oddly specific.. A couple most strictly means two, but it's often used casually to mean much the same thing as a few, which commonly means around two, three, or four. But considering Eminem released Relapse in 2009 and has songs dating back to 1989-88.... a couple of decades is definitely referring to 2 decades if you're listening to it in order.
"I'm like an R-A-P-E-R (Yeah) Got so many S-As (S-As), S-As (Huh)" which was a very common theme on this horrorcore rap album, f---ing women with umbrellas, kidnapping Tonya, etc.
"My new Benz better than your truck by far" is foreshadowing his Despicable freestyle that uses the Beamer, Benz, or Bentley beat as a promotional track to signify that Recovery is coming instead of Relapse 2.

    RECOVERY
Antichrist- "Knock, knock (Who's there?), boo (Boo who?)" whole scheme is entirely similar to his yelling Recovery style.
"Look who's talkin', dog, like Brian from Family Guy (Huh)" Family Guy S8 E21 was released 2 days after Recovery, its starting to get scary when you research the premise of the episode: Peter attempts to persuade his wife to get an abortion but changes his mind after anti-abortion activists convince him that abortion is murder... and what does Bizarre say in his verse? "My rent due, my girl need an abortion"

    MMLP2
Lucifer- "Like we rap and did a little bank robbery on the side" referring to his bank robbery at the end of Criminal that was continued on into MMLP2.
"But, Mom, do I still act eight?" referring to MMLP2 being his 8th studio record. The entire song is reminiscent of the MMLP2 style as well when he was semi-beginning the choppy flow era.

    SHADYXV
Evil- The 1st verse is very reminiscent of the deranged lyrics of Psychopath Killer which was on SHADYXV. Notice the voice change
"And I'm phenomenal at it" alluding to the next album "southpaw" which Phenomenal was on, seeing as Slim is always one step ahead of Eminem at this point because we are going backwards.
"Holy s---, Cait' Jenner just flipped (Yo)" Jenner publicly came out as a trans woman in April 2015, only a few months after SHADYXV was released.

    SOUTHPAW
Brand New Dance- The song admittedly is reminiscent of Encore, however when listening to the album backwards it takes on a whole new meaning.
"Well, it's Friday night, no date for the prom" Southpaw was released on FRIDAY July 24 2015.
"Kim Jong keep screamin' he gon' drop the bomb"- In December 2015, Kim stated that his family "turned the DPRK into a powerful nuclear weapons state ready to detonate a self-reliant A-bomb and H-bomb to reliably defend its sovereignty and the dignity of the nation.
"Room lookin' like a tornado hit it" A tornado touched down in Michigan during December 2015, an EF1 that struck the Detroit suburb of Canton, causing considerable damage to vehicles, an industrial park, and a gas station... I'm not making this up, google "2015 tornados".
"Superman, Batman, Spider-Man Slipped, fell, landed in a garbage can" Batman Vs Superman Dawn of Justice was released on March 25, 2016; however initially was slated for July 2015- same time as Southpaw but it was delayed.....similarly to how this song was delayed from Encore until now....

    REVIVAL
Trouble- Suffice to say this album gave Marshall A LOT of trouble in his career.
"f--- blind people (What?), and deaf people s--- (Stop, yeah)" People unanimously hated the album (although I love it, top 3 - 5 projects imo), honestly people that hate this album must be blind and deaf, so f--- them.
"Aw, the big bad wapper just get his feewings hurt?" this sort of reaction did in fact hurt Marshall deeply and spawned the response in the form of Kamikaze. I suspect the track was left short due to Marshall actually knowing Revival was a good album and doesn't need to address it much either, so I will do the same- I've already provided way too much evidence for this theory to not be true. But one last thing at the end-
"When you gonna rеalize that we f---in' need each othеr?" Slim Shady was notoriously absent for a majority of this album and he kept it to a more personal level... and surprise surprise, he needs Shady to stay relevant.

    KAMIKAZE
Habits- "Been waitin' a long time for this s--- (Ah) Long time no see (Ah)" we finally see the return of our beloved Shady on Kamikaze after quite a few years absence. The flow is similar to his rapid Kamikaze style but lacks the recent choppy flow that he had on Revival and MMLP2 era.
"Not in your league, so you pretend you're a victim and me-too 'em" On October 15, 2017 (2 days before Marhsall's birthday) American actress Alyssa Milano posted on Twitter, "If all the women who have been sexually harassed or assaulted wrote 'Me too' as a status, we might give people a sense of the magnitude of the problem", if you take those 2 days and add 2 months instead it coincides with the release date of Revival- (Dec 15 2017) which is alluding to the transition of him trying to be more responsible in his rhymes on Revival but it backfired, so he reverts back to his Shady style on Kamikaze and victim blames instead.
"Part of me gets it and wants to say I'm sorry and fix it (I'm so—) So all my statements are basically contradictive (What?) Like using the F-word for gay is wrong and offensive (What?)" EXACTLY like how he did on Kamikaze, I mean by now you have to see the similarities and references are undeniable.
"While raisin' three daughters, two graduated from college with honors" In 2018, Hailie graduated from Michigan State University with a psychology degree... same year Kamikaze was released.

    MTBMB
Renaissance- The whole burying a body is mirroring the theme of MTBMB. Eminem met with Big Daddy Kane (a long time influence on his career) right after MTBMB was released, absolute crazy coincidence on timing. Now for the grand finale, as he goes on to list in sequential order:

"Kendrick's album was cool, but it didn't have any bangers (d--- 2017)
Wayne's album (Tha Carter V 2018) or Ye's (Jesus is King 2019), couldn't tell you which one was lamer
Joyner's album was corny (ADHD 2020), Shady's new s--- is way worse [MTBMB]
Everything is either too tame (The King and I 2022) or there's too much anger (Realest 2023)
I didn't like the beat, so I hated Might Delete Later" (2024)

You can definitively play the album backwards and it works. It just tells a different story.

So in reverse, you have a couple of songs of Eminem, then a fight to the death with Shady, and then Eminem arguing with Shady until the end when Shady appears with a plan to get him cancelled? I don't see it. Brand New Dance, Lucifer, Tobey all lead directly into the next track after them. This smells like a reach
