    The obsessions you mentiomed are all ones you're aware of and in some way you 'chose' yourself which is not bad at all.

    Standing behind something 100% like your football career or supporting your club is also not bad as long as it doesn't affect your health/surroundings in a negative way.

    Like you said, if it takes over your life in a way that you can't live a normal life (or can't do certain everyday things you want to) it can be a bad thing. But from what I read your dealing with it in a good way and it doesn't bother your daily routines.

    I probably don't even need the gum tbh... but no matter what I don't think I'm ever going to lose the fact I LOVE a beer and a ciggie while watching the footy. That's just one of life's greatest pleasures for me.
