i can't even begin to explain this feeling. never give up on your dreams fam.

i wasn't gonna make a thread, but f--- it - this is the reason i've been less active over the last 4 months. anyone who knows me knows that i've been working towards this for years now, and after like 1000 rejection letters, i finally got that acceptance letter b.

i was sitting at second cup when i got the email, and i just sat there for 45 minutes bro, i didn't even know what to do.

again, never give up on your dreams. i got rejected from business school in two separate cycles, and then i got rejected from law school from another 2 cycles - i counted all my rejection letters i've ever got yesterday and the number was 14. but every time i got rejected, i just worked harder to get my GPA up and my LSAT score up and I finally got it fam.

i love u guys.

ps: my first order of business is to sue @Narsh for sexually harassing @captain awesome, and then sue logic for making s-----y music

yesterdsy i had extreme case of food poison but decided not to go to the hospital. Around 3 am i started getting ridiclous cramps all over , the pain was much deeper than anything i ever felt. Around 5 am while throwing up i had 7-8 cramps all over and i legit passed out. My wife discovered me on the floor an hour later and they took me to hospital and most of my body stopped functioning cuz of how dry i got and my kidney got effected

I was told i came very close to dying

Like i will miss the chance to hear Views, Ha !

I am leaving the hospital now and coming home

i went over to a family friend's house for dinner, and after we ate, their kids wanted to go outside and play ball on the driveway. the kids are younger, one is 9 and the other is 11. i'm coming off a hamstring injury, and the playoffs are on, so i got inspired to go out and s---t around with them. the net was at 8 feet, so i started (as we all do on smaller nets) with my best lebron impressions. tomahawking the ball in, putting it off the backboard to myself, etc.

anyways, a few of their neighbours came out when they seen we were playing, one 11 year old, one 13 year old, and a 16 year old. we decided to have a friendly game of 3 on 3, it was me (24 years old) and my fam friend's kids (9 and 11) vs the 11 year old, the 13 year old, and the 16 year old. i was playing PG and facilitating the ball, i would just draw a defender and dish to give the kids some easy layups. this was what me and my team looked like, i was like michael jordan and the tune squad.

at this point the parents had come out to watch as well. i felt a little embarrassed playing with these little kids, but i kept going. anyways it was all friendly until the other team started to pull ahead, so naturally, my competitive nature kicked in. i faked a pass and drove the lane and went up for a quick layup, and out of nowhere, the 16 year old close lines me while I'm in mid air. this is a very vulnerable spot for any individual, and i ended up coming down on the edge of the driveway on one ankle, and stumbling in to the lawn.

i brushed myself off, but at this point i had tunnel vision. the 16 year old took the ball from the top, and i locked in hard for the defense, eyes on his waist etc etc. i went back to the fundamentals our very first coach teaches us, i wasn't gonna let this n----- score. sure enough, i lunged for the pick on the dribble, and forced a turn over. i quickly ran out to the line to clear the ball, and then turned around with eyes on the rim. i was going to drive and tomahawk it in, make a statement.

well it turns out as i was so focused on the rim itself, i didn't see the 11 year old on the driveway standing in front of the net. as i went up, my knee went in to his face awkwardly, and when i finished the dunk, i landed over a sprawled out 11 year old. s--- was horrifying, especially since his parents were outside watching. it was sort of like this, except the kid was just standing there, f---:

after people rushed to the kid to see if he was okay, i shuffled out in my embarrassment and apologized to the parents. i thanked my family friends for hosting the dinner, and went home. my older bro, who witnessed the event was speechless. s--- was the most awkward drive home, both of us were sitting like this for the 10 minute car ride:

lesson learned, even if its just for fun, don't play ball with other people's kids b.

Since May of this year,i have been very sick.
As time passed on, my body started rejecting most foods, then 6 weeks ago, i was unable to keep anything down, so for 6 weeks i was unable to eat.
Last Monday i hit an all time low, i was unable to even keep water down.

I suffer(ed) from a back problem for the last 2 years, i had to take 150mg of Palexia 3 times a day!
I got a procedure on my back 3 weeks ago, & fortunately it worked, but my stomach problem persisted as i still had to take the medication for a week or so as it takes 10 days for the procedure to work properly.
Last week i was an hour or so from collapsing. I was unable to stand or anything.

I was brought to hospital last week (which i dont even remember arriving at). I was sent for dozens of tests, i was hooked up to a drip & at first i was put on an oxygen mask.

To sum it up, the medication f----- me up, the codeine f----- me up internally, however, i tapered the medication down to the point in which i no longer have to take them, my doctor told me to stay on them, but f--- that, If i had my way i would of cut them out full stop, but i would of had a big chance of getting heart failure. I had no connection to the medication. I didnt need to take them, so why bother? so cutting them out was very easy.

anyway, i am getting way better as the days go on, im able to eat & Im starting a IT internship next week. Its all up from here

The Mrs is 3 weeks pregnant!

Been trying for a while now but both in our 30s has meant it hasn't been easy.

Keeping this quiet for the next 2 months is going to be impossible!

I'm so happy right now!
