    Not totally caught up here but ya I think this is the 2nd or 3rd time I’ve seen him crusading for lil Nas. Nobody cares that he’s your favorite artist and that you wear skirts.

    Lil Nas is pandering trash and no amount of virtue signaling is changing my mind on that.

    I agree. People are so worried about proving their side is right that they completely s---t down any chance of coming to an agreement or middle ground even though middle grounds on stuff like this seems impossible.

    but political issues (if that's what you would even call this) has felt like it's always been this way

    At the end of the day I'll call somebody whatever they want to be called and that won't change but discussions about s--- like this is super interesting especially since the concept is so new

    I don’t know about other but forums are the last place of old internet, nothings malicious it’s just harmless s--- posting/banter. I think it’s safe to say if a member here seriously came out as trans no one on this board would harass them or think less of them, and as soon as someone did aggressively they’d be flamed.

    There’s a lot of valid points dressed up in message board humour in this thread, it’s fine.

    Yeah he made the charts in USA, but none of those songs was big worldwide. Montero is the first song since OTR I heard on Dutch radio. Kinda liked that EP btw.

    He's like those TV series that have a random character one ep go "hello everyone I am gay and here is my same sex partner"
    Purely cause the people creating it know a portion of their Christian audience will kick up an absolute s--- storm and they don't have time to portray a normal not-straight person in 30 mins without them having say something as generic and straight forward as "I'm gay I'm gay I'm gay".

    It's not real lmao, most gay people I've met i only found out they are gay through knowing them a long period of time and not direct exchanges of sexuality. Hard to explain
