    This thread doesn't seem different from any other celebrity death threads to me, people are rude and get told to shut the f--- up in all of them but most people are respectful.

    it's harder to make jokes when the person has done nothing wrong and was so young. I don't know if I can name a single thing peep has done wrong other than abuse drugs like most other rappers.

    Not that I'm saying it's OK that people made jokes about his death, but Linkin Park had been the butt of jokes for nearly two decades before his death and it's harder to joke about a 21-year-old dying. That's probably why there's less joking here. LP is also a much bigger band so it's easier to dehumanize them and everyone heard about it, whereas most people who know about Peep's death are probably fans in the first place.

    I agree it's lame to joke about people's deaths like that though.

    no, you're just strawmanning what I said to you and skipping the part where I think it's lame to joke about death like that. I was just providing an explanation as to why more people joke about Linkin Park, not saying it's funny or OK.

    You're also similarly being rude to Peep by making this about someone else and getting mad that people don't like others joking about his death just because you weren't a fan of him, which is exactly why people made lame jokes about Chester's death.

    CB was joked about more because he was bigger which means more trolls and probably would’ve hurt people more than Peep, why I don’t agree it’s not always best to joke about people’s desths like this it is also used as a coping mechanism for some people
