    So if you're researching a new PC you think any poverty reviewer on youtube's opinion matters more than LinusTechTips for example

    To be fair even though I think he's a nerd my point is not so much about him as a person.

    I think its interesting to see people's point of view and why they like or dislike something. And yes, critics are mostly better at that than regular people because they actually study it. But that still doesn't change the fact that their opinion (= they like it or not) is more important to me or makes me like it.

    Like I said u and me have somewhat the same taste. If u say a new jay album is good and, lets say spatula says its s--- your opinion means a lot more to me. Simply because we share the same opinion on lots of music

    and yeah ur thinking rn spatula is a poor example because he's an eminem stan lol but other eminem stans will value his opinion more

    Contradicting yourself heavy. You started saying you admit his opinion holds more but it's not a good thing and then quickly resorted back to his opinion doesn't hold more weight LOL

    But the quality of a computer can actually be measured.. like if it's slow, or is broken after a year. U cant do that w music lol.

    Ftr I'm not trying to play the ITS MY OPINION SO IT CANT BE WRONG card, but if someone can back up why they like or dislike something that's good enough for me

    You're so awful at debate......spatula isn't Anthony Fantano he doesn't have the credibility Fantano does how are you subbing him in LOL.... In that case big dangerous would actually have the more educated opinion over spatula so again you're contradicting yourself

    To me! Maybe I should have added that before this discussion. I, personally, think a dude that studied rap doesn't mean their opinion is worth more. Isn't that what we all do here? Defend our opinions?

    But if this is what you want,

    Tekashi you are 100% right that generally people that are critics get their opinion more valued than people that are regular listeners.

    I just don't really agree w that and comparing it to government officials or the example @Big Dangerous gave is something different because those things can actually be measured
