I never really understood the hate for Fantano nor the rationale that an opinion of someone educated/well-versed in their craft isn't more reputable than any random person on a music forum.

The music critique knows more about music and dedicates his time to listening to and reviewing music. Doesn't mean you should take his word as fact, he's just one critique and that should go without saying, but it's ignorant to act like his opinion doesn't hold weight over someone without his background.




Put it like this
When you're looking into a new device to buy and watch reviews on YouTube, do you take the opinion of random poverty a--- uneducated camcorded amateur review of the product into consideration? Or do you trust LinusTechTips? It's a no brainer.
