Jan 7, 2016 oh mb brudda ThugxUzixTravis song/mixtape would probably be the best project to come out this century honestly
Jan 7, 2016 So don't get me wrong I really enjoy Uzi in spades but am I the only one who think his s--- can be a bit basic... Like some of his flows make me feel like I'm listening to trap eminem and he kinda sounds like a top 40 version of Thug. No hate tho because I enjoy the music i just get this sense of something missing that I don't get when listening to Trav or Thug
Jan 7, 2016 Thug wit the crazy Trav beats like Never Catch Me, Thug taking up most of the song, and Trav/Uzi providing contrasting high pitch/low pitch backing vocals with Thug singing on some Calling Your Name type s---. Tell me that wouldn't be God Level
Jan 7, 2016 k id agree with you if you didnt say u dont get a sense of "something miss" for travis lol neither travis or uzi are extraordinary. but uzi is more captivating for me i can only handle uzi in short bursts as of now cuz like u said his sound isnt fully fleshed out yet. he does sound generic at times, even if he sounds exciting at others travis himself never sounds exciting to me lol. at least very rarely.
Jan 7, 2016 Idk I feel like you might have built up enough dislike for it to form a bias, though I could be wrong His truly original s--- like Never Catch Me, 2nd half of Ok Alright, Drive etc are captivating and even when he bites he goes hard. He sings with as much heartbreak crooning on about partying and getting drunk as Future does genuinely speaking on failed relationships, and Antidote is a top 3 Rae Sremmurd song, if not the best.
Jan 7, 2016 Beat sounds nothing like a mike will beat and the rap verse is completely diff, if Travi's engineer hadn't raised his voice up a few pitches no one would be complaining
Jan 7, 2016 no one would also be listening to it and calling it one of the best biggest singles of last year
Jan 7, 2016 It initially blew up off of the hype Rodeo was getting, but yeah I won't deny doing something popular makes your song more likely to be popular.
