Jun 4, 2015 Ehh, I don't know if those people against Thug in favor for Wayne are doing it because of sexuality purposes. They may make fun of his language he uses in "bae" or "lover", but that isn't the root of their problem with Thug.

Jun 4, 2015 can you just trust that ive had 100x more conversations with people who dont like thug, genuine, in depth convos, and literally over 75% of people's problems really are rooted in his image, not his music. but they bring that bias into their exploration of his music, which isnt fair. its also not fair to ask them to ignore his image, because when taken in the right context, its part of what makes him such a fun artist. people's other major complaints, outside of the ones hinging just on his image, are his delivery and content. both of which are non starters for a lot of people, and make them quit before they get anywhere with his discog. and you cant be like, "youll get used to it" or "it takes time" or "he does have content, once you can understand his slang" if they arent willing to meet you halfway. but yeah, anyways, thats a really rough summary of my dealings with anti-thug fans of hip hop.

And @Narsh in my dealings with people that dislike Thug, it's how much of his style is influenced by Wayne (which he does, but he's unique with it and makes it different) and they say he's unoriginal and bars on controversy because of all this Carter s---. But, there are some that don't like his lifestyle as well and that factors in but that's not the majority of the ones I know. Thug is one of those guys some will hate, some will love. I like him...

But I have never been one of those clowns blatantly hating on him because I've noticed that separation between his image and music. That song he did with jamie xx was flames if someone whos a fan show me his best stuff, in their opinion? I'd like to give him a try lol
Jun 5, 2015 n-----, you can't be serious... sftw2 is wayne doing what he's always done...if you think that's thugger, then you've proven the point of some of the people arguing in here -- that tape IS wayne (and it's what he always has been), so if that's thug, then thug clearly jacked wayne. --and for the record, i'm not saying if that that tape is thugger or not, cuz i don't know the guy well enough to say the style is his, but apparently you've done the legwork for me here. and this... this can't be serious either man. you say he got off wayne's nuts 3 years ago? when did he release a tape called "carter 6" again? -- you can't deny that he's still on wayne's nuts today. ...real talk, @Narsh , i wouldn't have a problem with thugger if i didn't see you on his d-ck so much..i enjoy some of his tracks. and i know you've honestly just been trying to get others to appreciate the music/artist that you enjoy, but the cultish following that you have for him has done the opposite for me -- it's turned me off from the dude solely based on reading your posts pushing him. not trying to be a d-ck, but if someone is shoving something down your throat, then you're gonna end up hating it.
Jun 5, 2015 you misunderstood my post. I said he stylistically got off waynes nuts a few years ago. His biggest career goal was still to work with dude, and they did with take kare. but then all the recent fall outs happened and it seems to have turned into a beef/publicity game. hence the album/mixtape titles. as for the rest, i dont really care to filter myself. if people cant get past the way i post to see my points, then theyll never give thug enough time to like him anyways lol
