    There's usually a higher standard for his Carter albums than his other ones. And he's gotten better lyrically in the past few years compared to where he was at in ~2013.

    I'm going to set realistic expectations. I'm not expecting a classic, but it has reason to be a good album.

    He also said he would retire at 35. And, in all fairness, sometimes artists need a break. But Wayne has a passion for making music and a consistent work ethic; I don't see him just vacationing on beaches and never making any songs for the rest of his life.

    I think Marsh needs to realize that even though Wayne is still relevant, it's mainly because of features and his older work. C5 was big, but you never see anybody outside of dedicated wayne fans talk about Funeral, Collegrove 2 or Fix Before Tha 6. I think it should be unanimous that having a collab album with Rich the Kid is a bad sign. He can still spit though.
