    Dropping the album is how you get people talking. Or at least dropping a single.

    I think the annoying thing is the odds of em fans to only follow artists that orbits him now or before out of all other artists because they are the best is mathematically impossible. If u guys just give other artists a real chance. Real listen. Its honestly mind blowing that lloyd f---ing banks would warrent any music discussion in 2021 is ridiculous. Im not judging and yea i liked revival at first but im rly trying here to encourage u guys to expand. Try it for real. If u like everything a rapper that orbits eminem put out u would be BLOWN AWAY by most projects in the last 5 years by almost any rapper

    But I’ve been a fan of his since early 2000’s just like you with Em, so of course I am going to listen to new material.

    That’s like saying: I’m not going to listen to new em album because I have only got time to listen to new rappers.


    I get where you’re coming from, but the logic if flawed.

    I think this comment applies to some but not all of us. Didn't you just recently get into newer artists? I've honestly never seen you talk about other artists other than Eminem until recently.

    But I 100% agree that people need to expand and not just talk about artists that are closely related to Eminem. I think there's been a pretty good variety recently.

    You made a thread saying you moved on from Eminem and just recently got into newer artists. Next thread you make? An Eminem thread about The Ringer...

    Like I said above, I 100% agree that people should expand. But shi--ing on this thread seems a bit hypocritical. A lot of us been talking about a variety of different artists for years. Not sure why this one Lloyd Banks thread is bothering you.

    h---, for the past few weeks we've been doing listening sessions where we revisit albums. Artists we did so far include Wu-Tang, Three 6 Mafia, Big L, Warren G. Not to mention all the new albums. A lot of us been discussing J. Cole too and a lot of different artists. I haven't seen you in a single one of those threads.

    I used to be obsessed with Lloyd Banks. I thought punchlines like 'Banks is cooler than the other side of the pillow' were clever. To be fair, I was like 18 years old, but it's still an embarrassing period of my life.

    I also thought Cam'ron was corny, and now he's one of my favorite rappers. Purple Haze and Come Home With Me are significantly better than any 50 Cent and G-Unit album. GRODT is a good album but honestly aged horribly...
