Jan 1, 2015 It doesn't matter man, csw has set out to defend eminem at every chance he gets. If you mention Em and you don't say "hes the most popular rapper and the best of all time and i want to s--- his d-ck" he will direct s--- posts at you until you ignore him.
Jan 1, 2015 He has some valid points about being technically sound with your raps doesn't mean you're a great rapper. Then again, he's completely disregarding Em's earlier music as crazy nonsense. He's no different from those hip hop fans that think if they can't relate to the music on a personal level, it's bad. Also, his comments on Justin Timberlake are completely absurd.
Jan 1, 2015 So I finally watched the whole thing and I have to admit he has a point to a certain degree. However, I personally would not compare Em to someone like Justin.. That really makes no sense to me considering how different they are. yeah, they're both white, so what. Jay z is black, you wouldn't compare him to someone like prince, would you? "they're doing the same thing" Oh, you mean they're both white and make music? Oh ok then. I guess the fact that they make completely different music doesn't matter at all. the only thing that matters is that they're both white and sell a lot..
Jan 2, 2015 lord jamar = irrelevant for a long time...his constantly stirring s--- up on DJVLAD so it gets good ratings and vlad knows it as well
Jan 2, 2015 Lmao this dude is low key racist. He's one of those people that think whites are taking over black music or whatever smh...
Jan 2, 2015 funny when black people get mad that white people do the only thing there good at better then them.
Jan 2, 2015 Yah whites never had to go through the oppression of several hundred years of enslavement and discrimination up until this very day...Whites have nothing to worry about
Jan 2, 2015 i would put my money on whites being used as slaves more since the beginning of time. when are you guys gonna get over this slavery s---. you realize there were black slave masters right?
Jan 2, 2015 Yah thats common knowledge and the stigma of slavery is just because it was outlawed just a 150years ago...I bet in another 100 years the stigma of black slaves will be gone
Jan 2, 2015 yeah an theyre no blacks 150 years old so stop your crying. the president is black ffs. what more do you f---ing want from us??
Jan 2, 2015 Im not complaining man lol why u gettin all defensive? Im just speculating on why blacks may still hold on to some old history...I dont have all the answers
Jan 2, 2015 I can't believe this thread has moved from white rappers to black slavery! We are a new generation of people that couldn't give a s--- about colour anymore, racism mainly revolves around religion and culture now.
Jan 2, 2015 It sucks that race is still considered a determinant to ones value in the world...One must free themselves from the mental slavery the media keeps perpetuating...We didnt need Django and 12 Years a Slave because it just reopens old wounds that America is trying to put behind and move forward from Lol at the Eminem vs Macklemore...Lord Jamar doesnt know what he's talking about tbh and its racist...Macklemore got nothin on Eminem
Jan 2, 2015 Yea I didn't like where he went with that. I thought it was gonna be about how Justin/Em are both pop stars (Eminem is much more generic, and I can't believe he said Em is more skilled).... but obviously there should be no taking away from Eminem's early career. Yea the horror-core stuff is weird and unrelatable.... in fact im willing to bet that 95% of stans never even had bad relationships with their Mom... but that shouldn't be ALL what music is about. However, when it comes to rap, relateability always comes first because rap is about self expression. You're buying into the person, most rappers talk about themselves and their lives. Eminem is not relatable unless you turn his fantasies into metaphors about yourself, which is what white kids did when he was coming up, me included. But to be a big Eminem fan nowadays, and bump his music a lot, new or old, and not be a teenage girl is just weird and says a lot of bad things about you. Oh and lol @ Macklemore being included, f--- a Macklemore... he doesn't belong in a discussion with Eminem even if it's only based on race.
