Feb 2, 2016 Bernie is hilarious. All his voters are these r-----ed millennials that think he is just going to give everything out to them for free. I'm sick of hearing about this guy.
Feb 2, 2016 what is going on with the Democrats is nowhere near as dysfunctional as what is going on with the Republicans, not sure how that's even up for debate lol
Feb 3, 2016 What I gather from your posts is that you don't support Bernie. What would you do if he gets the nomination? The republican primary isn't ideal, no doubt about that, but I would venture to say that the democrats aren't necessarily having a tea party either. Bernie is tearing the party in half. His supporters are anti-Hillary. If he doesn't get the nomination, it is going to be interesting to see what happens. That was my point.
Feb 3, 2016 Lol. Such wishful thinking... I remember Rush Limbaugh's Operation Chaos and making something out of the nothing with the PUMA's in 2008. Don't worry about us Blair.
Feb 3, 2016 You're right, I don't support Bernie. He won't win. If he can't win Iowa, which should be one of the best states in the country for him, it will be nearly impossible for him to secure the nomination. Having said that, if he DID win, I would still probably vote for him...right now the GOP looks on track to nominate a pretty extreme candidate, either Donald Trump (insane), Ted Cruz (also insane), or Marco Rubio (not insane, but far too conservative for me - this idea that he's a "moderate" is a mirage if you just look at his positions). If the Republicans nominated someone a little more moderate (Kasich, Christie, even Jeb Bush), I'd be more inclined to switch my vote, but as it stands today, I far prefer Bernie to the likely GOP nominee.
Feb 3, 2016 I will say, the Democrats may not be as hysterical/melodramatic/insane as the GOP right now... but I'm very concerned with the in-party fracturing (which, yeah, is happening within the republican primary as well) and the lack of deep bench (which isnt a problem for the gop) i do believe nominating bernie would set the democrats back to a time when mcgovern, mondale, dukakis were our nominees.
Feb 3, 2016 well Ted Cruz isn't much better, but as lest he doesn't run his mouth. Now we just have to get rid of the socialist
Feb 3, 2016 Trump is having another twitter melt down... accusing Cruz of electoral fraud and saying they should nullify the results and maybe redo the Iowa cacaus.
Feb 3, 2016 I understand the logic from your perspective, but when roles are switched I don't see Bernie fanatics changing their tune so quickly and backing Hillary.
