And though "Dots & Line" sounds like a love song, it's actually a song about the dance between corporate enslavement and artistic compromise. Those heads who enjoy nerding out over double entendres and cryptic lines will find Tetsuo & Youth rewarding.

Jan 20, 2015 I think I waste my first listening by listening singles. I regret that s---. Album is refreshing. The skip basing on season set the tone of each part of the album. Favorite track is prisoners 1&2. That s--- hard af lyrically and sonically. I'll come back with my theory after watching Akira
Jan 20, 2015 No Scratches is great. Brillant production. No doubt this is clearly Lupe's 3rd best album. Over time it will become clearer how close it is to his 1st 2 albums.

Jan 21, 2015 maaan Lupe never left, he was restricted by the label on lasers and F&L 2 was a reaction to that by producing something completley opposite but came off too preachy imo. Still it wasn't a bad album and sonically sound good. And a lot of the stuff he released after was really good, especially the lost in the atlantic songs. This album is lupe let off the leash and doing whatever the h--- he wants to do - nothing short of incredible. Production - insane Lyrics - no words (no pun intended) Story - gonna take me the rest of the year to work all the nuances out Don't think there's a weak track on here

Jan 21, 2015 just listened for the first time, excellent album. Only song I'm not really feeling is Blur My Hands but Mural, Prisoners 1 & 2 and Deliver were the big standout songs so far for me. its good to hear Lupe back on form again.
