his form is terrible lol, and although I'm sure he's not maxing out he seems pretty weak, he put on so much mass in such a short amount of time that I'm sure the majority of it is fat, still looking semi decent though and I still love the dude.

Hope he makes it to the WWE because he's been sayin for a while he wants to enter it, I'm sure it won't be a permanent move.

my buddy's been attending a gym geared towards boxing fitness/preparation... trainer there tells him that once he's able to do 5 minutes straight of jumping rope, then he should be conditioned enough to last through a fight (other factors are involved, obviously -- but from a stamina/endurance-standpoint).

i put this to the test on monday...made it to 5 minutes. i counted 599 jumps/loops, only got tripped up 3 times throughout. pretty happy with it :emoji_punch:

In the past it seems no matter how much id work biceps I would never get noticeable gains, its been a couple years since ive lifted but I have been in workout mode for 3 weeks now and have been focusing on nutrition this time around and my current bicep workout is:
alternating dumbell curls 3 sets 8-10 reps
isolated single arm preacher curls 3 sets 8-10
    reverse curls 3 sets 8-10
BURN OUT: bench barbell 3 sets of 15-20

thoughts suggestions? I was watching some video a couple days ago where a guy said he knows similiar people and its due to compromises in posture, corrective stretching can help so ive been giving that a go

What lifts do you use them for? I use them for all dumbbell lifts. I tried them with barbell bench once and it didn't feel right. Yesterday I accidentally left them at home after cleaning them and it felt weird not lifting with them. They keep my wrists and elbows stabilized, especially while doing dumbbell bench. I don't like lifting without them. Hammer curls are so d--- difficult with Fat Gripz. Good s---.

Are your weights increasing over time? it doesn't matter what exercise you're doing if you're not adding reps/weights to them. Progressive overload man

Are you actually gaining weight? Your arms will get bigger when you get bigger. Adding overall mass will allow your arms to grow.

Try working towards being able to perform 10-15 chin ups [weighted].

I know it sounds condescending but a lot of people just make the key mistake of not training hard enough, make sure your muscles are burning every time, don't just do a few reps and half a--- it, push yourself, tear the muscle up.

    Dropsets.
    Rest pause.
    Supersets.
Cirquit (3 exercise in a row)
    21' EZ curls.
Pyramid sets (1 rep, 10 sec rest, 2 reps, 10 sec rest until you hit failure and than go backdown to one.)

Biceps will respond. No matter what [IMG]
Oh yeah. and eat enough and sleep alot.

To lose weight all you literally need is to be at a calorie deficit. Of course there is much more that you need to take into consideration but if you consume less calories than you use you will lose weight.

With that said don't underestimate weight lifting when it comes to losing weight (fat) either. A lot of people are under the misconception that if they lift weights they'll immediately get huge. If it was that easy we would have everybody walking around looking like the terminator.
Muscles also help burn more calories, and you will not get B*** unless you know what you're doing and you're trying to B*** up.
Cardio is good but a good mixture of cardio, weightlifting, and a good diet is the best way to get results.

Has anybody here tried a carb cycling diet before? I wanted to cut a little fat before summer, but wanted to lose as little gains as possible.
So ive been doin low carbs on rest days and before the gym on gym days. And really high carbs after the gym .
So, I've been following it for about two months now and I'm seeing pretty decent results. Just wondering if anyone else had success with this kind of diet or had a more effective diet for cutting fat without losing out on too much gains.

Same and I totally agree about the stabilization, I use them for the barbell bench presses as well when I want to push myself a little more. I tried them with the Plate Loading exercises a lot too. I also use them for cable exercises like Lat Pulldowns and Arm exercises. Your totally right about Hammer curls feels like your wrists are about to break off.

This August I start competeing for powerlifting again, I plan on being in the 181 weight class for the teens division (17-19) the last time I competed was march where I ended up 8th in state at 148 with a total 1180. All my highschool meets were equipped but I am going to be competeing raw these upcoming years. Currently I have not done a 1rm in a while but I know my 5rm's since I am doing a program named "The Texas Method".
    Squat :380x5
    Deadlift: 410x5
    Bench: 260x5
Each week consists of a volume day which is squat and bench 5x5, deadlift 2x5 80-90% of my 5rm from the previous week. A recovery day which is 70% of my volume day, bench and squat 3x5. Then the intensity day which I work my way up to a new 5rm on all three lifts. The main goal is to add 5 pounds to my 5rm every week and at least 2.5 pounds to my 5x5 weight. I just started my 3rd week and so far I have yet to fail on any lifts, so the weight is hard enough to struggle but not hard enough to be unable to pick it up. My goal is to just hit 1300 pounds this August which will have me ranking at least 3rd in my division. I might start a log soon but I am not too sure yet. I'll definitely post info on here though when I make any significant strenght gains.

    When losing weight it's what- 90% nutrition/eating 10% exercise?

For someone more 'skinny fat' than anyone else, would it be different? All I know is I've got to eat a s--- load/take my bars and exercise a lot. It's rough but pretty rewarding so far.

Don't do bicep work outs. Do multipjoint back exercises. Work those babies through that. Not isolation stuff.

AKA: Lat Pull down, Cable Row, Pull Up, Reverse Pull Up, Close Grip Pull Down, Bent over DB row, Bent over BB row.

I like to superset compound exercises with isolations. That's worked the best for me. So *any of what you named above* immediately followed by hammer curls, preachers, etc. To k--- that muscle.
