Jan 4, 2018 the last verse of bad guy without a doubt, how tf can you compare them lol? the last verse of believe is great but the material was much fresher when we heard it on bad guy and it had about 700+% more impact and actually made you feel like "f---", i never got that impact from believe i dont think he can ever top the feeling we got from last verse of bad guy, that is almost universally the biggest punch in the gut hes given us as fans, and its unlike the first three verses, where does the third verse of believe stary that differently than the first two? op is definitely reaching in desperate need of something new to talk about, you cant seriously disregard bad guy just because of the one toilet line you sensitive fa---- lmao

Jan 4, 2018 Bad Guy 4th verse is great. The toilets clug line was awful but it doesn't ruin it for me since I love the verse overal. Also the twist, a s-----y serial killer song being Stan 2 was amazing. Love when you suddenly hear Matthew/Stans voice during the 3rd verse. That said, the first 2 verses are boring as f--- and I don't care for it at all. At first Castle was my favorite song on Revival, but Believe grew on me so much. Castle is still good but Believe is... incredible. Conclusion: Believe > Bad Guy for me, but I love both the 4th BG verse and 3rd Believe like the same. Rest of Believe s----s on Bad Guy though hence the overall conclusion being what I said.

Jan 4, 2018 Bad Guy is just a bad song overall, very poorly executed with way to many filler lines. It's only perceived as great because he just came off a so-so album (Recovery). 4th verse is only perceived as great because 3 s-----y verses that make you think "Wtf is the point of this, and is this really all there is to it" came before it. That's where it started to go up-hill. Then Rhyme or Reason came (great song btw!) which sounded NOTHING like what you'd expect for a follow up to MMLP and everything after that suffered because of it. In short: Bad Guy sucks, front to back. Has no replay value at all.
Jan 4, 2018 Good post, and the Timberlake returning album part made me laugh because I'm actually excited for his new album too. Eminem and JT returning after over four years gone in the same 50 day span...cool. MMLP only had a few songs I liked - gems being Rap God, Legacy, and 4th verse of Bad Guy. Bad Guy was lyrically superior just because of it's twist, but the only real entertaining part was the fourth verse. But that fourth verse is better then ANY moment on Revival. But there's about 5 minutes before in Bad Guy that Believe dominates. Bad Guy has the better verse, but Believe is the overall better song.That final verse in Bad Guy is one of the best of his career though.... I always wished instead of the intro song, he chose Bad Guy as the LAST song on MMLP 2...that would have been an awesome ending.
Jan 4, 2018 Arose is waaaaaay better than Bad Guy though. That feeling when he raps about the sheet beinf pulled over his head and his daughter clenching his neck.. It's the first time ever i caught myself tearing up to a song. The picture he paints about walking towards Proof and all that.. It easily trumps Bad Guy 4th verse. Every verse on Stan, Loose Yourself etc.. It's all milles aheqd of Bad Guy 4th verse. Its not even top 20.

Jan 4, 2018 Believe verse 3 (all of it for me, actually) is the closest thing I've heard to TES-level Eminem since TES. It's crazy how much better this song is than the rest of the album and I hope that feedback makes it way back to Eminem....
