Nov 13, 2017 There was nothing wrong with the song and you're the type of "fan" that he can never please. Get over it, go listen to other artists and stop nitpicking over bs.
Nov 13, 2017 You asking your master for help... I remember the old days you on rap basement you got no info no nothing ur an old man trying to make a name on internet but nothing. Only you are known as a old poster in this new forum man. Stoop acting like you matter anything more than other member the only ones who leaked s--- in past Louis Gibzen FDL Koolo and the SupremeTeam end. Your opinion is irrelevant n----
Nov 13, 2017 Totally agree with @M Solo on this one. It's nothing unseen, and instead of whining about what's wrong with himself he should just go and try to fix it. How you can be so self-aware and keep doing the same mistakes over and over again is beyond me. Also, I don't get the whole raw emotion argument when it's clear that everything about his rapping is poorly executed. As a matter of comparison, I was looking for the song the other day on youtube and I found this: The guy is 15 and s----s all over WoW Eminem
Nov 13, 2017 A single line killing an entire song and making it bad? That's a pretty r-----ed way of judging things IMO. Using s--- in a toilet as a metaphor was pretty good to be because the metaphor fits the concept pretty well (lots of (obscene) problems building up) . But its bad to you because hearing the word 'toilet' makes you cringe? Your opinion though.
Nov 13, 2017 Not a bad read at all. I do like this song and have listened to it more than 5 times since friday. However, the worry about him being able to move away from choppy flow is real. I've supported his evolution through the years. Relapse was interesting I thought with very interesting and nice flows. However I'm probably too old now for the slim-esque lyrics however the accents didn't really bother me. Recovery was just solid for me all the way through. Here people were on about the shouting and well... yeah, it was there it just didn't bother me. MMLP2 was supposed to be a follow-up to MMLP (well duh!) but there was just this extra weird supermarket shopping spree-feel about the tracks, not sure how else to explain that. This is where I later realised that, yeah, the stop-n-go delivery brought me out it. Still, I don't hate MMLP2 as much as many others here. I ended up listening to it for a while and enjoyed it. Still people are right about the delivery simply being too inaccesable at times and it deserves a lot of the critisism it gets. I like THIS track and think the delivery works for the acapella/piano/strings combo. But even if I do consider myself a Stan, I'm not one of those that'll just swallow it raw if it's all just stop-n-go, or choppy which is the preferred expression in here He got a pass with this track for sure from me, but I agree, cut this s--- out or you won't be the one deciding if this is your final time around Marshall!
Nov 13, 2017 @M Solo if I remember correctly, you are a fan of Recovery. To what extent do you like Recovery?
Nov 13, 2017 I think it's a really solid album with some classic songs on it. Space Bound and GTC are perfect top tier Eminem songs imo. Talking To Myself, You're Never Over and Seduction are very, very good. The rest of the album for the most part is really enjoyable to me. The only songs I actually dislike on that album are On Fire, Won't Back Down, LTWYL and Untitled. The rest is by no means perfect but its something I really enjoy(that said it's something I don't really revisit all that often.)
Nov 13, 2017 Hey FDL. I forgot you even existed but I'm glad to see you're alive and doing well. How's your dead, decomposed Grandfather doing though!?
Nov 13, 2017 I just listened to both for the first time in years because of this post.. they sound even better than I remember. Definitely classic post hiatus em I guess a part of it is nostalgia (I was 15 when Recovery dropped) but how people can rate MMLP2 above Recovery when it has songs like this on here is beyond me
Nov 13, 2017 How so? I wasn't trying to make a point about the content or lyrics, but specifically about the delivery. You can't say this doesn't flow better with the instrumental than what Em did.
Nov 13, 2017 https://genius.com/a/how-eminem-disarms-his-critics-by-dissing-himself Exactly my thoughts . The fact that he is self aware means we are in for a good album . He's doing what he did when he first came out (and 8mile). Diss his own shortfalls so everyone can review it for what it is ...
Nov 14, 2017 Seduction is very underrated and many don't even like it. Best song on Recovery for me. Also what are your thoughts on Beautiful Pain? Love it like GOF.
