Apr 12, 2015 Push yourself harder and do more research on diet. There's no secret to this, there is no finish line. It's a lifestyle. If you have the means, hire a personal trainer to get you on a program and show you what an actual workout is like.
Apr 12, 2015 Do you still drink alot? If so cut that down and stop doing it daily, not even solely for the weight, aswell as for health and other reasons. Count your calories so you know exactly what you're getting (myfitnesspal app may help) Be more consistent, you said 2-3 days, I think you should be doing atleast 3.... 3-5. Develop a solid plan so you know what you have to do in order to lose say 1 or 2lbs a week, and follow it!
Apr 12, 2015 Still drink a lot yes but not really something I want to stop. Although I have found that the days I go to the gym now I'm not drinking. There's normally one day a week I don't drink but now it's prob 3. Calories are definitely something I've started counting although I thought myfitnesspal app required way too much user influence. It would be nice if you could just manually add a certain number of calories. Oh well! Thanks for the reply though, it kinda goes with what I'm doing so it's a good confirmation.
Apr 14, 2015 yo. I don't feel like making a new thread since this is called "General Health and Fitness". trynna stop drinking soda and I'm finding it really difficult. I need a substitute and unfortunately, just water isn't doing it for me. Any suggestions?
Apr 15, 2015 Powerade Zero and flavored seltzer are solid options because you still will still get some carbonation in the seltzer and powerade tastes f---ing delicious. If you have to drink a soda occasionally definitely pick up the diet or zero option. You could always add some sort of flavored drops or slices of fruit into regular water.
Apr 15, 2015 What would be a good daily caloric intake for someone who is doing a definition routine? (high on cardio, medium-low weight for high reps)
Apr 15, 2015 It all depends on your height, weight and goals? Since you said definition I'm assuming you just want to look a bit toned, in that case I'd go into a slight deficit until you're happy with what you seen in the mirror. Here's a calculator, put your info in and it'll give you a rough estimate of how much you should eat, then add extra calories for exercise. http://www.calculator.net/calorie-calculator.html
Apr 23, 2015 Defintely start incorporating weight training into your work outs. It is proven to be much more effective in fat loss than just doing cardio. Also, substituting whatever cardio routine you're doing at moment for a HITT routine would be helpful in losing weight as well. Obviously it depends on the person, but if you were to start doing weight training 2-3 times a week followed by a quick HITT work out (you can google/youtube this to find some good routines) and doing some cardio on a different day you would start seeing results a lot faster. Also, i bet steady rate cardio is a d--- chore to do, so you're eventually going to very bored of doing just that and lose motivation. Adding some variety helps to keep you interested in your work outs, at least it does to me. Good luck on your goals man.
Apr 28, 2015 Anyone have some suggestions on some good cutting supplements? Was going to take Muscle Pharm CLA based off of the natural ingredients and it's lack of stimulants.
Apr 28, 2015 Lifting, cardio, and most importantly a caloric deficit. Unless you've got those 100% dialed in save your money and don't buy into fat loss supplements.
Apr 28, 2015 500 should be fine. Its a marathon, not a sprint so you will want to set yourself up for sustained success. At a deficit of around 500 you should still be able to maintain most of your muscle mass while getting rid of your fat.
Apr 28, 2015 @M Solo I tore my hamstring around 6 weeks ago. I haven't had any serious physical activity since then, but I need to make a return to my hockey team now because this has lingered too long. I ordered deer antler spray (IGF-1) to try and strengthen it. Do you have any experience with this stuff/knowledge?
Apr 28, 2015 Dislocated my finger earlier today was f---ing weird seeing my finger at a 90 degree angle but not painful.
May 2, 2015 Never watched him properly but see him everywhere, his personsa annoyed me a bit when I first watched him a while ago, but i understand how respected he is amongst people. There's only a few fitness people I like on youtube really, most the others are just pure cringe. Also too many liars claiming natty which annoys me.
