Jan 11, 2018 People usually take the fourth verse out of context with the rest of the song for whatever reason even though they’re clearly connected. The fourth verse is Matthew representing Eminem’s conscience. The final verse paints such a nice picture. Just imagining Eminem realizing everyone he’s ever wronged in his life and in his lyrics as he’s plummeting to his death is amazing. Bad Guy is still the perfect sequel to Stan and couldn’t have been done any better. I still think it would’ve been nice to have a video but it really doesn’t need one because you can practically paint the entire video in your mind. His storytelling was top notch there.
