Apr 17, 2015 @Mike Tyson @Mikey1990 @Enigma @Detroit24 @them2eazyboyz Episode one leaked a night early! Enjoy!
Apr 18, 2015 Oh yeah, you're from Argentina How'd that second fight feel. You guys had a full training camp with a second crack at the GOAT and y'all did worse than the first one
Apr 18, 2015 Bro, I was watching the fight and I was mad af, Maidana is from my f---ing city and I wanted so bad to see him winning The events after the fight were hilarious. This s--- is a classic
Apr 18, 2015 when i made my poll i figured it would conflict with this thread.. good to see we can merge
Apr 18, 2015 Agree with this 100% let's also not forget Pacquiao isn't any where near the offensive fighter he was back in 08/09. It's a bad match up and bad timing for Manny.
Apr 18, 2015 Word both have taken tough rematches for the sake of legacy, I hope we see more than just this one. That said for me to cheer against Floyd would be like cheering for MJ to lose in the finals, witnessing this undefeated streak is history to me.
Apr 18, 2015 Really? His undefeated status has always been polarizing, but I tend to agree with the people who claim he's been strategic in picking fights and protecting himself. Joe Calzaghe went 50-0 and almost nobody thinks he's the best middleweight. Mayweather very easily could have fought Manny five years ago and shut me up. He had the ability to challenge himself and go down in history and he chose money and staying undefeated instead. Still a great boxer though.
Apr 18, 2015 He definitely picks his fights, but even looking at his last two opponents, it's not like he's setting himself in matches that he'll win. Both Maidana and Alvarez were good opponents. But I get what you mean about timing - fighting Cotto in 2011 instead of 2008, Manny in 2015 instead of 2010. Also that's a good point about Calzaghe.
Apr 18, 2015 He's not always stacking the deck, but he has in the fights that will define his legacy and that is what matters. I'll always respect Manny more for following Mayweather to a weight class he probably shouldn't even be in.
Apr 18, 2015 Spot on and totally agree. Mayweather is a tremendous boxer, will undoubtedly go down as one of the greats and probably better than Manny but I'll always respect what Manny has done in his career more.
Apr 19, 2015 Saw the HBO At Last Doc it was great. But Pacquiao's excuse for failing to agree to the random drug testing because he felt terrible after giving a little bit of blood was a huge giveaway. No KO's since those allegations in 2010 & now the Random drug testing is no problem. I actually like Pacquiao great fighter, good guy but I have no doubt he was on PEDs.
Apr 19, 2015 Random blood testing wasn't the issue from what I remember, what the issue was Mayweather wanted to do drug testing right before the fight (I believe a week) but Pacquiao declined because he said drawing blood made him feel weak. However Pacquiao agreed to blood testing 2 weeks before the fight AND the day after but Mayweather declined and that's how the whole "he's on steroids" claim started. I mean if he was on PEDs, they'd certainly catch him on a blood test the day after the fight, right?
Apr 21, 2015 Jesus it's not even funny how badly HBO slaughters Showtime when it comes to these shows. That opening was the greatest thing I've ever seen.
Apr 21, 2015 @M Solo Yeah At Last was epic. I think Pacquiao might have a decent chance actually, Mayweather has lost his foot speed.
Apr 21, 2015 I really don't think so. I'm a Mayweather Stan but watching his training.... I think he's going for the KO or at the very least stoppage. I know he hasn't really done that since Hatton 8 years ago but I think it's kind of obvious he's on PEDs
Apr 21, 2015 U think Mayweather is on PED's because of Ariza? But are they not have the drug testing? Still think Mayweather will win but I think the reason he was engaging with a brawler like Maidana is the loss of his foot speed. He is 38 now so its no real suprise so he will use his ring craftmenship more.
Apr 21, 2015 Well, Ariza obviously raises an eyebrow but just watching his training. Man, he just looks so powerful and is doing little things that I haven't seen from him in like a decade. I don't know. And as far as the testing goes there's a lot of newer drugs that are undetectable.
