Yes, there is a huge difference

‘Shovelling s---’ is known saying that refers to tedious or repetitive work.

‘The world force fed me a turd’ means nothing as a saying so it’s just Em saying that line with ‘turd’ chosen to rhyme with ‘yours’. The word turd is a such a low level word too. It’s playground stuff.

During the interview today they were asked what their fav tracks off the album were

Porter said Offended
Paul said Framed and Offended
Em also said Dre had told him he needed more “fun songs”

I thought that was telling but also interesting because we know Rubin talked him into the Remind Me type rockrap style songs.

So this brings up my question of who the f--- keeps telling him he needs to keeping doing all these Pink collabs/female hook style songs???

Nowhere Fast

Not bad. Not great. It's kind of just there I guess. One of the better tracks I suppose? That's not saying a whole lot but I'll give it that at least. The bridge was cool and he didn't have any song killing lines so I may listen to this going forward. Really high standards I've got for Eminem in 2017 lol.

This is what's frustrating to me. Back in the day, eminem would, more often than not, pick beats that were accessible to most of his listeners. And even when people didn't like a particular beat, it usually wasn't enough to make the song unlistenable.

But for years now, he's been choosing very divisive beats and they often force the listener into a love it or hate it situation. Or more accurately, a "can listen" or "can't listen" situation. Most of Revival seems to be filled with this dilemma. And heat is the perfect example. I literally cannot stand that beat (or hook) but I absolutely love the verses. But since I find the beat so painfully bad and annoying, I can't even pretend to enjoy the song. It's an automatic skip. This is how I feel for most of the tracks on revival. It's unfortunate too because he has a lot to say on this album. Oh well.

I couldn’t even get through “Remind Me” and “Heat”. “Offended” might be even worse. I think it might have the worst beat/flow of any Eminem song...

Framed. More serial killer s--- while flirting with that accent. I thought that album was in the trash, Eminem? This would be one of the shittier songs on Relapse so why in God's name is it on here? I don't even believe this is new. He swapped some names and threw it in here. s--- sucks. And Fredwreck produced this? Space Boogie Fredwreck?? f--- this song. Way to evolve, Eminem.

I have loved this album from the first time I heard it. And I still do. Worst song on the album is the Pink song. I really struggle with Untouchable but I like everything else. And especially Believe and Castle/Arose.
