    I've been following Detox for years and I'm a huge Dre fan. Now that this is finally happening, i'm confused. lol.
    part of me feels like i should be mario-punching the roof with excitement, then I realize i have literally 0 idea of what to expect/what this will sound like.

    I should be excited, but i'm not feeling it. Think this is the calm before the storm and tomorrow i'll be punching f---ers in excitement

    The fact that we are actually getting a Dre album for real this time is astonishing to me... like, I don't think my mind comprehends this s--- yet but when this drops in less than two f---in days, it'll hit me like a bag of bricks.

    I am anorexic for this d--- album

    Exactly. Jimmy was Dre's boss and back then Eminem was rap's savior and G-Unit was "the black Beatles."

    I still don't believe this is happening. My expectations are so low, mostly because I still haven't let it fully set in that it even exists, and partly because it's just been a long a--- time.

    For me it's discovering new artists. Snoop, Eminem, 50, Kendrick, ect.... His fingerprints are all over the last 20 some years. The Beats brand is obviously HUGE but I think that was more Jimmy that anybody("f--- sneakers, we should be selling speakers" comes to mind) Dre just slapped his name on it.

    Does anyone have a compilation of all of dre's production and the leaks from detox?
    I'd love to dive into his discography while I'm at work tommorow and give you guys my thoughts on him after being more educated about him.

    2001 was like the 3rd album I ever listened to. I have been anticipating this s--- since I was 14 years old, I'm 20 now :"(. I remember telling people that C3 was wack and to "look out for Detox!" Seriously. I never thought it would happen.

    This time it just feels right. Lets face it, a 2010/2011 "Detox" would have been mediocre (at best). The tracklist, artwork and features look great, I'm a little scared of the unknown artists but the faith I have overrides that fear. I really think we will be getting a classic album.
