bruh that Self Care music video.... Him carving "Remember you have to die" then punching a hole through the coffin and emerging after being buried... I thought he was on the right path...

been listening to Mac since 2010. me and all my friends in high school loved his music. he only got better as he went on and really became a fantastic artist. this is a huge loss for hip hop. addiction is a son of a b---- man.

I believe he was. But depression and addiction can get you at any moment, any day. Even if he's been using for weeks, months. He was trying so hard and that s--- hurts

I mean he does have a point about the guns. I’m not giving up my guns over people overdosing on fent. Some of you reach at anything to try and find a random a--- reason to ban guns.

Now on the Mac Miller case, since he repped Pittsburgh. Huge loss for us. Plus Jimmy Wopo back in June being shot the day he got signed. I’ve had a friend a year older we always played on the same baseball and football teams. And he died of an od and this guy was ripped. Not someone you would think used this s---. It can happen to anyone.

Let Mac RIP and hopefully he gets accepted into freedom and not purgatory. He didn’t seem like a bad soul.

It might be corny to say on a forum or even corny in general, but I looked at Mac as a mirror kind of. Demons, addiction, lost love. Faces resonated with me in 2015. But he made an album in Swimming that was so f---ing positive and motivational in its own way. He was on the right track and he deserved to get through it, and it's sad it ended like this for him.

When my friend told me Mac died I was like "nah... no, not mac, cmon don't lie to me."

I always felt self-conscious saying stuff like that that about Mac Miller irl just because the average person still views him as the frat rap s--- he came up on even though he's basically a different artist now—but I totally 100% feel you on that. He talked about depression/addiction/relationships in a way that was really real and relatable to me. Genuine.
