    dude arguably grew more artistically over the past 10 years than almost any rapper who came up around the same time as him, and even after that he still was only f---ing 26 dude

    For someone who knows VERY few Mac songs, this is still hitting me pretty hard..He was one of the few rappers out nowadays that I was kinda digging and getting more into, was planning to check out more of his stuff soon. Certainly not claiming to be a big fan or anything, h--- I can't even really say I was a fan at this point. But like I said I enjoyed the few songs I heard recently, and was planning to check out more.

    But even more so it's because it's another person gone in their 20s, and in this case a person who had a positive impact on millions of people. Life is just brutal man, brutal.

    It warms my heart to see rappers of all ages and eras showing love to him on twitter. I guess social media isn't all bad.

    Start with Macadelic, then go chronologically. You can probably skip anything before that, but it might be worth listening to just to see how far he's come. It's really cool watching him grow and mature.

    In order:

    I can only hope Mac’s legend rises.. he was so amazingly talented. He has classic projects, and he was still evolving more and more. RIP. I cannot f---ing believe I have to say this..
