    Not every line hits (and calling himself "rap devil" is pretty corny), but I think calling out Em for being a recluse who has no life and nothing to rap about anymore so he just reads the dictionary to find nonsense words that rhyme ("young thug poster/unplugged toaster") is something no rapper's ever called him out for to my knowledge (or at least one that's gotten this much press—there's no way he misses this).

    k I actually did press play on this and MGK f---ing cooked him. Really feel like people itt are underselling how good of a diss this actually is. He didn't go the tired "attack his family" route that most people do when they beef with Em, he went in on his fading place in rap and musical decline, which Kamikaze made clear are things that keep him awake at night.

    Em should have retired years ago when he became a parody of himself making those wack a--- pop songs with P!NK ... now look at what’s happening to him ....YIKES

    You do realize his young thug poster/ unplugged toaster line was purposely random, right? He was describing things that couldn’t be less alike. Just a strange example to use for your argument.

    Either way, I thought the diss was ok. Nothing extra hard hitting or new, but props to him for having the balls to say something. Hoping for a response from Em.

    Yeah I know the song is called "not alike," but it's still a lazy way to fill up bars because he frequently has listed off lists of random things that rhyme in his recent music. It's not like he just did that in one song.

    Having beef with someone who idolizes you is probably more intense than beefing with someone who hates you.
    Cuz you know that somebody who hates you isn't gonna sit through your discography and search for flaws that are personal like that. It's a needle in a haystack. Em's other opponents always used bs facts to diss Em, like the fact that he's white and he ain't about that life, him falling off.
    Even that Canibus diss where he tricked D12 into rapping with him wasn't as tough as this, that diss was literally "Renegade Schemenegade, you pink like lemonade" with no actual facts because Canibus or any other rapper would be too proud to admit that they actually LISTEN to Eminem's music. But we all know MGK grew up idolizing Eminem.
    This guy called him out on everything that his fans have been making fun of for years lol.

    You're making that connection but one of the things he's addressing on the album is meaningless lyrics in today's "mumble rap". This isn't the same phenomenon as #manholecover, but i do see what you're saying. There's no denying Em has uttered his fair share of meaningless lyrics esp in the last five years.

    This "diss" was extremely generic and hardly took shots at Em.

    "You're old and your hat is dumb" sums up the entire thing
