May 15, 2015 The movies are essentially standalone. The first and third are just OK but Mad Max 2 is the one that really shines. It's probably the only one I recommend. The first was really low budget, had horrible editing (both sound and video) and hasn't aged particularly well. You'll probably finish it and think "that's it?" because it isn't full of baddies with sick cars and desert wastelands. It's pre-apocalypse. Mad Max 2 is the post apocalypse setting people think of when they hear the name.

May 15, 2015 Was a huge fan of mad max 2 as a kid so when I heard this was coming out I had mixed feelings but it looks great and I've heard nothing but great things So looking forward to watching this in a few hours

May 16, 2015 Need to come down from the rush and give it some time to breathe, but I feel comfortable saying that this was the most fun I've ever had watching a movie in the cinema. Without a doubt one of the greatest action films I've ever seen.
