GotG getting so much hate.
After a few rewatches some parts do get a little bit boring, but that's expected of movies and it certainly doesn't take away from how great the film is.
Definitely top 5 in my opinion.TheAQU4M4N, RickGrimes and Deadpool like this. -

Seen this earlier today. When the trailers were released I expected this to be one of the worst marvel movies. Only reason I agreed to seeing this is because Paul Rudd is great. Movie completely blew me away did not expect that at all. Great casting as well Paul's buddy the Mexican guy was f---ing great if anyone else would've played that role it would've been awkward as h--- but he nailed it. Everyone was great. Far better than I thought it would be honestly think it could be top 3 marvel films.(This ad goes away when signing up) -

Anybody got any ideas they might have in regards to rolling forward from Civil War into Infinity War parts 1 & 2?
For me, I'm going for the notion that Civil War will be the last time we see Captain America, Iron Man and Thor for a good while (Hulk will remain absent too). Thor: Ragnarok will have a MASSIVE Asgardian extermination event, possibly leaving Asgard in ashes. Thor is either presumed dead, or punished and locked up for the crime for the death of Asgard and Asgardians (even though Loki is the one that set things in motion, due to him posing as Odin)
Civil War ends with Captain America dying, and Tony Stark regretting the events of the movie. Tony does 1 of 2 things; gives up being Iron Man (again) or heads off into space to find Thor/Infinity Stones (because he believes there is one out there that can bring back Captain America) and in the ashes of Civil War a new team of Avengers is born: Vision, Scarlet Witch, War Machine, Black Panther, Falcon, Spider-Man among others.
Infinity War part 1 begins. The New Avengers (and a couple of allies) are now in charge. All that's left of the old Avengers are Hawkeye and Black Widow. Thanos (now with every Infinity Stone bar 1) invades Earth. He goes through a rampage that decimates the planet and leaves fallen heroes everywhere. The end approaches and we have an epic fight between Thanos and Vision, where thanks grabs him by the throat and rips the Stone from Visions head, killing him. We then see Thanos and a fully activated glove where off-screen we hear a roar. Camera cuts to show Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Guardians of the Galaxy and a revived Captain America as part 1 closes with them confronting Thanos.asvdawg, Old Account and Juney Dark like this. -

Not a bad film, but the nuance of seeing all the characters together is definitely gone -

what's sorta ironic is that the maximoff twins were incestuous in the comics, and the last big movie that the two actors did together, they were playing husband and wife (godzilla) -
