May 1, 2015 Omw to theatres to see for second time, first was the leaked cam. f---in nice and d gonna be great
May 1, 2015 *spoiler alert* Saw this lastnight and loved it. Although I do think the first Avengers was better. This one seemed to kinda drag at times. All the "relationship" scenes between Banner and Natasha were unnecessary imo. A little too much Hawkeye back story too. And the dream sequences created by Scarlet Witch were very wierd, confusing, and kinda corny. The final battle scene was disappointing compared to the final battle in Avengers 1. The opening scene however... holy s---... might be my favorite fight scene in Marvel history. I thought the ending of the movie was cool, showing the new Avengers headquarters, which is how I remember it looking in the cartoons/comics. Also showing that Vision, Falcon, and Scarlet Witch are Avengers members going forward. Then the end credits scene with Thanos. They definitely set up the Infinity Wars movies well there.
May 1, 2015 He is backtracking now, but I still find his interviews about AoS funny, because the latest episode is pretty much a prologue of the first 20-30 minutes of Age of Ultron. Spoiler Theta Protocol being the Avengers Academy is quite big too.
May 1, 2015 What'd you guys think of the final line of the movie when Cap says "Avengers..." and they cut out "assemble"? When that happened everyone in my theater was like "Aww what the?!" Wish he said the full line tbh. Would've been a great way to end it.
May 2, 2015 Honestly, I liked this but nowhere near as much as I was hoping too. It's a step down from something like Winter Soldier or even the first Avengers movie, which is slightly overrated imo
May 2, 2015 AIn't got nobody to go with to see this in theaters so I'm stuck here watching this cam rip.
May 2, 2015 I enjoyed this for the most part, but for me it's definitely a notch below the first one and Guardians of the Galaxy. Whereas the first one had the palpable joy of a kid smashing his action figures together, the novelty of seeing of all these heroes together has somewhat worn off. There's a lot more action this time around and while some of it is excitingly staged (though not as cleanly as the finale in the Avengers), I can't say I'll remember a single action sequence in a week's time. The film, however, does get by on its likable cast, team dynamic and self-aware humor. Kudos to Whedon for preventing this from becoming the mess it easily could have been. I mean, it's still a mess (there are shoehorned scenes in the middle signposted "Franchise Plot Positioning"), but he manages to keep the whole thing from completely bursting at the seams. Even with three new Avengers, Scarlet Witch (cool), Quicksilver (ehh...), and Vision (yawn), Whedon manages to give each character his or her due. Overall, it's a lot of fun and better than most of the standalone films, but one gets the sense that the Marvel magic formula might be starting to strain.
May 2, 2015 Quite enjoyed it, god d--- the cheesy jokes make me cringe though - also would the MCU would have been 10x better if they had Spiderman involved from the beginning
May 2, 2015 Everyone has there own opinion, but after I watch this for the 2nd, 3rd and 4th times; this could potentially be better than the first one. First one slightly overated? This movie was phenomenal and somehow managed to exceed expectations. 10/10 honestly.
May 2, 2015 What did everyone think of the death of Spoiler Quicksilver Did you think it was way too soon? Or needed for the film?
May 2, 2015 tbh f--- quicksilver and that other chick, seemed really irrelevant; vision was a nice surprise though
