May 27, 2015 Norman/Green Goblin has always been a major part of the Spider-Man mythos, so I can see how they want him in the Marvel movies. The persona of the Goblin has been too much, but not Norman himself.

May 28, 2015 So Spider-Man is out? or is it because he hasn't been cast yet Marvel hasn't named him, he played a big part in the Civil War comic, plus Sony and Marvel reached a deal to bring him into the MCU.
May 28, 2015 I just googled the cast and he wasn't in it. But it could wind up being a surprise thing or maybe he hasn't been officially cast yet. I bet at the very least he gets introduced in the end credits scene.
May 28, 2015 Spider-Man has only been confirmed as a cameo so far. Casting is still on-going, but Spider-Man was confirmed before a lot of others that have been since filming started.
