Jun 11, 2015 ANT-MAN new TV Spot: http://marvel.com/news/movies/24721/ant-man_stands_up_to_yellowjacket_in_new_tv_spot Also, new posters (if you like)
Jun 17, 2015 This is going to be a long post, but it could be useful with what's to come in the MCU. In this post I will talk about characters I have a pretty good feeling we might see. It's going to be long, so sit back, relax, and try not to get your hopes up. First of all a little back story on why I'm making this. I frequently play a game called Marvel: Future Fight. It's a pretty cool game worth checking out. This is where I'm getting my basis from. The game doesn't tie into it, but it is MCU related. The characters you play as appear in the MCU as in Iron man, Captain America, Mockingbird (who made her first appearence in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) the recently added Guardians Of The Galaxy, and so on. Not only that but for the most part they appear exactly how they are in the MCU and the Guardians storyline takes place after the movie (although it isn't canon) now... the juicy bit. Included as playable characters are ones that are about to make their MCU debut and characters that haven't been announced by Marvel as having the rights to. Intrigued? Here are those characters: Characters We Will See Soon: Spider-Man - Sony and Marvel are joining forces to bring him into Civil War and his own solo film. Captain Marvel - She will make her MCU debut in her own solo film soon Punisher - Recently revealed to be in Daredevil Season 2 Elektra - Recently rumoured to play a part in Daredevil Season 2. Marvel owns the rights. Bullseye - Also recently rumoured to appear in Daredevil Season 2. Jason Statham was rumoured to play him and recently 'dropped out' Black Panther - Will debut in Civil War and appear in his own solo film. Black Bolt - Member of The Inhumans, whose film is due out soon. Luke Cage & Iron Fist - The next Netflix series after Jessica Jones will feature these two. We will see them again in The Defenders series. Surprise Characters We Might See: Angela - Originally a character in the Spawn comics she was introduced in the comics as Thor's sister, Aldrif. Ghost Rider & Blade - The skeleton motorcyclist and the half-human half-vampire were acquired by Marvel the same time as Daredevil. Dr. Octopus - A long time Spider-Man enemy who's now dead in the comics. Sony and Marvel obviously share the rights to a lot of the Spider-Man universe, so could he play a part in his upcoming solo movie? Green Goblin - Norman Osborn was recently rumoured to play a part in the upcoming solo Spider-Man film. Could we see Green Goblin (again) soon? Venom - An alien symbiote who is currently a member of Guardians of the Galaxy in the comics. Known best to some as Eddie Brock. Could we see the deadly symbiote soon in the MCU? Black Cat - Depending on the storyline she is an Villain/Hero/Anti-Hero of the Spider-Man universe and past love interest to Peter Parker. She appeared in Amazing Spider-Man 2 as 'Felecia' M.O.D.O.K. - Stands for Mental Organism Designed Only for Killing. He is a regular foe of Captain America who is in league with the organisation A.I.M. Of course, take this with a pinch of salt. With Fantastic 4, X-Men and a slew of other Marvel characters not being in the game the ones that are who we haven't seen in the MCU yet is a good indication Marvel will introduce them in the near future.
Jun 18, 2015 I wonder how and if they'll adapt MODOK, probably the same way they did Zola in Winter Soldier.
Jun 23, 2015 We have our Spider-Man! http://marvel.com/news/movies/24758...udios_find_their_spider-man_star_and_director
Jun 24, 2015 Now we know for sure - Spider-Man is to appear in Civil War! http://comicbook.com/2015/06/24/spider-man-confirmed-for-captain-america-civil-war/
Jun 26, 2015 The first batch of reviews are out for Ant-Man... and it's VERY good news. Overall response to Ant-Man has been very positive with only a few negative reactions with one person going as far as saying it's BETTER than Age of Ultron. Ant-Man has TWO mid-credit scenes, which are said to be huge. And for those that are worried it connects to the MCU perfectly.
Jun 26, 2015 I've read some reviews. Very promising. The thing is, I wish they had written Ant-Man earlier into the MCU but it's not a problem really, he could have provided a great post-credit scene for Iron Man or just a scene in Iron Man in general. Also, probably should point out that they wouldn't have cast Paul Rudd at the beginning of the MCU so I am glad Ant-Man has taken this long!! I am honestly so excited for the film though, I feel like Tony Stark will show up in one of the post credit scenes asking him to join his side for Civil War and another will be a teaser of Civil War. Either way, the MCU is really pulling together now.
