I also stated that I loved the interlude that precedes it. the arrangements with the strings are beautiful and then when the track drops in I'm pumped and ready to go. like you just quoted part of why I like it in your effort to tell me i need to tell you why.... only to then ignore it. wat

Oct 30, 2015 why do i need to dispute what you said in order to say what I liked about it? it's your opinion, and it's not what I value/look for in the song so it makes no difference to me and what I said this is why this is a pointless debate... because even if I tell you why, if it doesn't line up with your opinions about why a certain song is bad/good/okay it's suddenly like talking to a wall. you can't get it if you don't feel the same way, it's as simple as that.

Even this is helping me understand the praise it gets.. it doesn't mean i will necessarily change my opinion tho. THAT'S how and why i debate, i simply wanna understand people better.

Oct 30, 2015 I'm open to your interpretations as to why you think this album is overrated but I don't agree with it. Why? I dunno, I don't think about this sort of thing on a deep level. The production on this album is clean and maximalistic (not sure if it's a word but if it isn't just imagine the antonym of minimalistic). It's lyrics self-reflective. That's why I like it. I know you're the type that doesn't like lyrics to be spoonfed to the listener so that's why you dig Yeezus because you like to divulge and dissect the themes/meanings.
Oct 30, 2015 Almost getting there. What do you exactly mean by "clean" because i can hear a lot of distortion on this record. Maximalist i agree but is it really that meaningful if you can't hear all the instruments/voices on AOTL? Can you give examples of lyrics that you genuinely find self-reflective on this record? I don't mind if listeners are spoonfed. I just wanna hear something exceptional, something extraordinary. If it's easy to digest than so be it.. if it's hard than chapeu to you! For example spoonfed lyrics that are out of this world: I like the way you described my take on Yeezus, but that's not the reason why i like yeezus.
