    Wasn't this the guy in a Macklemore music video and said Downtown is "definitely a good look for hip-hop"?

    Like I hate Eminem and Jay-Z as much as the next guy but this is taking dusty to another degree

    Americans are obsessed with race, and in particular it seems black American rappers & comedians; Dear Chris Rock, Lord Jamar & Dave Chapelle - Nobody gives a flying f--- that you are black, and you didn't go through slavery. You were born in a world with TVs & lucky charms, and you aren't automatically connected or have the right to speak on ancestors who happened to share the same skin colour and SLIGHTLY closer roots than you vs. the random a--- white people who share SLIGHTLY closer roots than today's random a--- white people.

    Seriously, stfu about race already.

    Bravo’s The First Family of Hip Hop joins the long list of reality television series finding inspiration from Hip Hop. Considering the show’s focus on the newer generation of Sugar Hill Records, it was obvious Melle Mel would have some shine on the show due to his role on the label’s legendary single “The Message” from Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five.

    During the series’ fifth episode, Melle Mel said Jay Z and Eminem’s music was “garbage” following a conversation about why he doesn’t like rappers of today.

    “These are just guys posing. Jay, all of them,” Mel said as people in the room pause. “He’s a white guy. Jay Z’s a white guy. Jay Z’s a white businessman. He’s a clown.”

    When asked about Eminem, Mel once again brought race into the equation.

    “What about him?” he asked. “He’s white. What if I was white? I can beat Eminem.”

    These words are especially potent considering Hov will be the first rapper inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, has an upcoming album and just announced a venture capital fund.

    Wait these words coming from Melle Mel ?? OMG, is anybody born after 90's really know him ? No. Is he famous at all ? No. Is he a great rapper ? Naaah. Is he a great lyricist ? h--- no. Only reason The Message song was soo big back in the days was because of the production. Anyway, another hater talk shiit about 2 of the biggest rappers of all time.

    By the way, The Message is more famous than Melle Mel. h---, nobody even know Melle Mel. Very few people just know The Grandmaster Flash & The Furious. Lol even I as a hip hop head searched his name on Google to have an idea about who the guy is

    Because it's being used as a negative. He's saying jay z isn't good cuz he's a "white" business man, and simply that he could beat Em because he's white.

    Go try telling someone they aren't good at their job cuz they're black and let me know how it turns out
