kk, never said it was before the generation, just said it was basically before 1999. I remember playing BLUE/YELLOW version when I was 4 in 1999, and I played the SILVER version from the age of 5 to , practically now, I still go back to that classic game on my Gameboy Color. I realize i said before charzard, that's my bad, i meant to say he didnt come WAYYY after him like 10years, only like 1-2 years after. In the chartoon, wich hardly anyone waches, typhlosion came out in like 2008. In the game , in like 1998. I also remember my mom loving to play the GOLD version of this game in 1998. Got typhlosion to 100 and 10 other pokemon to 100.
