Sep 10, 2020 It made zero sense. Like, what the f--- were those clones and what did it mean? If they just made it a Strangers type of movie and somehow the funhouse copied her family and stalking them.. could have been great. But the whole 'everyone has clones living w rabits underground acting like r-----s' thing was awful. Made no sense at all. I kinda liked the action if it wasn't for the unnatural and weird behaviour both the 'real' and fake humans showed. Like the dude screaming, the kid being weird and the 'real' people not defending themselves etc. Total mess. I kinda like the twist that eventually the mom was the fake her but yeah it was too late. Never watching that s--- again.. And it makes me kinda scared that antebellum is gonna be some overly difficult pretentious s--- too...

Strangers is fire and I agree that they should have gone more in that direction with some sort of twist at the end but avoid the r-----ed clone s--- at all costs. Sep 10, 2020 Yeah agree it was cool that they did something extra instead of (like Strangers) have no motive or explanation. Also think the clone thing was okay itself but they could have kept it simple and just had the funhouse be haunted or something. True. Get Out was okay but not enough to make me appreciate the director. This movie can make or break him tbh

I didn’t think it was really supposed to make all that much “sense” and was meant to be more of like a thought provoking visual if anything. I will say I didn’t feel like I came out of the theater like “omfg that was the best s--- ever”
