Sep 1, 2024 Knock at the Cabin The first minutes of the movie, well if you didn't watch any trailers or spoilers, this feels like a 'The Strangers' type of movie. Four strange people visit a family in a cabin. Everything I say more can spoil it so not gonna do that. I think it was kinda slow at times, but a great concept. On the ending I'm still conflicted... but again I can't explain that without giving away major clues. The fact that the family is a gay couple was absolutely no problem, until they had to make it 'a thing'. Such a waste. Good movie though but it had more potential imo. 7/10
Sep 1, 2024 Finished season 2 of From on Apple TV and need mgm for season 2 but worth it with some of the shows so far. Michael Myers you need to check the show out, From. Severely underrated but it’s getting more notoriety recently. I read Netflix picked up season 1 in some countries. But the dead and the atmosphere at night gives me that old school 80s horror nostalgia feeling. It’s been a long time since a more horror show did that. Can’t wait for season 3, they could do many different story angles yet. A must watch for any horror, dark thriller fan.
Sep 2, 2024 Haven't seen old just a few minutes. Is it scary? This one was fine but the ending makes it kinda pointless imo. Also more a thriller than horror to me with some wokeness in between.
Sep 2, 2024 Oh yeah 100% agree. Season 1 is on Netflix here, watched it in one day lmao. Loved it. Still hoping Netflix will also release Season 2, so lame its been out for so long but they only got S1. If not I'll look it elsewhere, but I just prefer watching it on tv. Was S2 as good as the first?

Sep 7, 2024 Lol yeah @Michael Myers I liked it quite a bit actually. I wouldn't say there's any wokeness to it, I don't even get why people freaked out about the "slurs" because if you actually watch the movie, I wouldn't really consider it racist. I don't want to spoil anything, but check it out
Sep 8, 2024 Mr Harrigans Phone The only reason I'm posting this here is because one of the labels this movie has is 'horror'. However its basically just a coming of age drama movie. It is pretty cool, and I think the concept is amazing. A teenage kid gets friends with an old millionaire. After his death they still communicate through their phones. The movie is much more complicated than that, I think its well done. But, its kinda slow. And as soon as the story really gets interesting (and okay, gets some more supernatural/horror elements) its over.... So d--- much potential to make a great horror, but a decent drama movie! 6.5/10
