Oct 21, 2024 As corny as the teenage super powers stuff was in 3, i think it fit well in the context of 1987. 3 was the perfect balance of scary and funny Freddy imo.

Oct 21, 2024 I Know What You Did Last Summer Yeah so this is basically Screams twin brother to me. Also because I saw Scary Movie 1 before any of them and its based on those 2 movies lol. It was fun to recognize the parody stuff in the 'real' movies. Obviously, this one isn't as good as Scream and it doesn't have 5 great sequels either. Not a huge fan of 2 and 3 was a---. I did hear there's gonna be a reboot though, very interested in that! What I like about this is that it takes a while before the actual killing starts. The taunts, the messages, showing he could easily get to them without really harming them, nice touch imo. Also the fisher town was a nice stage. It sure helps that it has Jennifer Love Hugh t-ts and Sarah Michelle Gellar as well btw. One of my favorite slashers, with hopefully a new chapter soon! 8/10
