Nov 1, 2024 When people ask me what Halloween movies to watch I only recommend Halloween, Halloween 2, Halloween 2007, and Halloween 2018. Then if they really wanna check out more I can tell them to go ahead and check out the others if they want but avoid Resurrection because it’s horrendous and to be wary that most of the others are mediocre movies.

Nov 1, 2024 Y2K been having a resurgence for years now. That time has finally become nostalgic because the people who were born then, like me, are now adults. I don’t like to look back on the past a lot anymore, and I think people’s obsession with nostalgia is very unhealthy but it is what it is. These companies will keep nostalgia baiting people because they can’t make anything new that’s actually good so they have to rely on the old s---.

Nov 1, 2024 I used to like nostalgia but at this point it just makes me depressed because it reminds me of how much my life used to s---. That’s why I’d rather focus on the present and the future. I was being a little hyperbolic though, there are still great things coming out today and in the future obviously. It’s just that all this nostalgia bait leads to a lot of unoriginality that is still running rampant these days
