I wasn’t a fan of the franchise at the time those movies were in theaters because I had never watched any of the movies. It’s crazy how much of a fan I’ve become in that short amount of time. These Scream movies really hooked me. I even got my friends hooked. I’m not really a movie buff like that so I don’t go to theaters very often and just wait for home releases but Scream is one of those rare franchises that I would probably go to theaters to see

What is so amazing to me is that 6 movies in its still great.

I'm a huge fan of the 'big' franchises (obviously) but I can't deny Elmstreet, Friday 13th, Childs Play and even Halloween never made it to 6 movies without having one or more s-----y/average ones.

Scream managed to keep the movies fresh and great. Imo at least. Which is why I truly hope they keep delivering this quality or otherwise just stop.

Yeah I wonder how close the Scream franchise is to being over because realistically I don’t know how much longer they can go without having a bad movie. For some reason I have this feeling that Scream 7 could be the last one for a while but I hope that’s wrong

    True.

But 100% sure this is going to be a Scream 3 reboot.

Like, S5 was a new story (sequel to 1) , S6 was a new city (like S2) and w the cast this is gonna be tied to S3. Very clever tbh.

A good way to end the story once and for all imo. In a good way pls
