Dec 21, 2017 @DetroitSkills @Michael Myers Yes it’s true. Nick Castle is returning to play Michael Myers once again. Honestly, if Jamie Lee is coming back then you gotta get Nick Castle too. This is great f---ing news. The man must still be in great health to still be able to play Michael Myers. He will share the role with James Jude Courtney who will be doing the stunts.
Dec 23, 2017 Would be interesting if they show his face and he hasn’t aged at all. Let’s all remember that when he was unmasked in the original it was Tony Moran and not Nick Castle. So if they show his face they can use a different actor. I’m not totally against them showing his face because it was done in the original. But they’ll have to decide how to approach that. Seeing Michael Myers as an old man would be really weird lol. They might just go the safe route and not show his face.
Dec 30, 2017 1st of all, is @ComfortablyNumb s name a reference to the Pink Floyd song? Bc if so, I already like you, based of you giving props to my fav Pink Floyd album & love for AJ Styles
Dec 30, 2017 2nd of all, hey, I am new here, but I am interested in traumatic Horror movie, which will scare the s--- out of you (like REC. or The Conjuring) and Slasher movies with huge franchises (like Helloween or Friday the 13th), but I would like to know more about these two specific types of Horror subgenres and generally want to see whats up itt. So I was wondering if yall could recommend me any classics or underground Horror movie, which in your opinion everyone should have see
Dec 30, 2017 @RobTheDude Autopsy of Jane Doe Insidious (1,2,3) It Follows To name a few, what exactly are you looking for w slasher, what did u see already besides halloween and friday13 But srsly just skim through this thread, lots of great recommendations!
Dec 31, 2017 If you want good traumatic horror films I have tons of favorites. The Descent, Salem’s Lot (79), The Exorcist, Sinister, The Ring, The Babadook. If you want a good start to the slasher genre, like where it all began, check out Texas Chain Saw Massacre and Black Christmas. Though even the earliest slasher films were inspired by Psycho. Halloween, Friday the 13th, and Nightmare on Elm Street are probably the biggest slasher franchises. You can check out every film in each. Every entry in each is at least worth watching for better or worst. As far as slasher films go there’s tons of good ones. My Bloody Valentine, Sleepaway Camp, Alice Sweet Alice. A new school one that is pretty good is Happy Death Day. I really enjoyed that one.
Dec 31, 2017 nah i dont want to see myers face. They did it well in the first one because it was in the shadows and we got like a split second. even in number 4(or 5?) they did hid it quite well. But the whole mystique of myers is the fact no one knows whats behind the mask. If we knew it would kinda ruin it, which is why i HATED the remakes. They completely humanized michael myers, something which he aint.
