Kinda like Get Out with a message... I really hope they didn't f--- up the Nun character, that b---- creeped the h--- out of me w Conjuring 2 (even if it was just a manifestation of Valak). Anabelle nearly ruined her presence in Conj1 but they fixed that w Anabelle:Creation. Also, got my dvd for Halloween time to see it again!

Mar 25, 2019 The Nun isn't that bad honestly, it's not as good as I would have hoped for, especially after seeing Conjuring 2, but it's not terrible. The Expectations were high for it, but then dropped a bit after seeing it, but like I said It's average. I give it a 7/10 I seen Us Friday Night, it was brilliant. It was better than Get Out in every way.
Mar 25, 2019 Yeah I'm gonna check it out anyway just out of curiosity. People trashed Anabelle as well.. and while it wasn't close to Conjuring 1&2 it wasn't THAT bad imo. Get Out was gr8 but to me it was more like Skeleton Key 2, not really horror. Is US more scary? Also watched Halloween again tonight, 3rd time. Now its gonna be on the october watchlist every year. I stand by what I said last time, still love it. Tied w Halloween 4 and 2 atm. Love all the references to the other movies (even 3 lol). Really hope that they don't f--- it up w the sequel, like Rob Zombie did. His first remake wasn't even close to H2018 but it was kinda decent, the 2nd one ruined everything. Saw somewhere that Alyson is gonna be the main character and Laurie more of a Loomis role.. seems interesting, but I also wouldn't be surprised if they go the Jamie (Lloyd) road and make Alyson be connected or evil somehow. Pls keep it simple! Dont want another "Thorn" type of bs lol
Mar 25, 2019 That seems cool! Tbh better than another movie. The reception for Cult was good but I thought the soul hopping and possession s--- was very far fetched and was kinda let down after Curse being so d--- good. I did like seeing tiffany back though

Apr 28, 2019 So watched The Nun last week. Honestly not that bad but kinda out of place. Did like the little connection to Conjuring 1 at the end though. There's also a new movie connected to this universe, Curse of LLorrona or something ? Curious if thats good. Personally the whole 50's vibe that The Nun had wasn't really my style. I prefer more relatable stuff like actual cities/suburb stuff. 7/10 I guess, weakest Conjuring movie so far for me. Conjuring 2 Conjuring Annabelle The Nun (Still need to see Anabelle 2 and the new one of course, and that curse movie). Is PA: The Marked Ones worth watching btw?
