The Evil Dead remake and It Follows are both great, you should definitely watch them soon.

    Good list so far!

    @Michael Myers

How do you feel about "IT" aka pennywise the clown?

I know it's probably not horror but its the only movie that scared the hsit out of me, can't wait for the remake.

    Obviously the original lol.
I didn't like the remake. It had some good moments that were genuinely creepy, but overall it completely failed to capture even a little bit of the magic that made the first movie so good.

Glad to see Trick r Treat getting some recognition. That's an underrated movie imo.

I forgot about strangers, the intensified atmosphere seperates itsself from the rest of the home intruder movies.

It has been years tbh. But I liked it. It's more a drama movie than a horror indeed but clowns are b------s so I get that people find it scary lol

Will check it out soon. And yeah Trick r Treat is awesome!

Best horror movie trilogy oat tbh
3 is a gulity pleasure but 1 and 2 are amazing, 4 is fun but meh can take it or leave it

I like your list lol, Freddy vs Jason is an interesting choice and Scary Movie isn't exactly horror but both really fun movies to watch. Lol @ Shaun of the dead being on there

Totally agree about Scream except that I don't like 3 and do like 4.

Scary Movie & Shaun of the Dead are more comedy, agree, but they are labeled as horror and seen them on more horror lists. And I really liked them lol.

Freddy vs Jason as a standalone isn't that great but the background and bringing those storylines together into one movie >>

I like the diversity in your list.. I personally felt 'The Strangers' was boring; up until the final act though

Have you seen 'you're next' ? I personally think they did the 'home invasion' angle better in that

Thanks, and yeah just look at Insidious. There are a handfull of movies from the last 5 years in a way similar like Mama, The Possession, Oculus. They are imo not as good, but they could have been on here too. However I don't want to mention 20 movies that are all too similar because when I make lists like this I always try to make it a representation of my taste, in this case in horror movies.

I've seen it and agree to an extent. Except that I found The Strangers more creepy. I do get what you mean that it can be boring to people though.

The Strangers was f---ing awful, but I totally see the elements that stuck out for you enough to put it on the list.

It Follows was a really good horror film that came out within the last few years.

The original Paranormal Activity was really good too. Glad to see it getting some love. I remember watching that in theaters with promises that it was the next great horror film. They've absolutely destroyed it with all the sequels.
