Jul 7, 2021 Sorry if I re mention everyone but cannot wait to watch this! Me and my gf haven't taken a true day to ourselves since our son was born but we have the day planned out with our little man for him to spend it with his grandma so we can watch this in theaters first day it's out I feel like this is a very realistic approach as to what would happen after the events of the first one in a way they're stealing the "whole town bans together to stop Michael" from the 4th film but I believe this take will be much better! Horror films especially the classics need a more realistic take on things. It's what I respect about rob zombies second Halloween with Michael becoming homeless living in the woods f----- up mask etc.
Jul 8, 2021 Great post bro! And yeah agree to an extent except that I think RZ H2 was over the top and ruined all characters. Loomis, Laurie etc were all turned into awful people lol. Give me the OG H2, H4, or, even better, Halloween 2018! Also agree about the H4 similarities, love that movie. Pretty sure this won't have the iconic Earl line "you dumb son of a b----, you said u saw Myers" when they shot that kid by accident lmao
Jul 8, 2021 Yeah I feel like he made the films too trailer trash and giving reason behind everything. The cool s--- about Michael is no one knows why he does what he does and why he won't die. He's a ruthless killing machine almost like a terminator he's pure evil but when you make him out to be bullied and make him 7'10 like no s--- this f---ing giant isn't going to go down with a couple of shots to the body you know? Zombies Michael as a killer is my favorite Michael even slasher in general he's so f---ing brutal but as a whole I understand why everyone hates the films. side note I seen zombie is making a remake of the munsters which is cool I guess but I rewatched 1000 corpse and devils rejects the other day and it's mind blowing he hasn't taken a stab at Texas chainsaw

Jul 31, 2021 So many horror movies I want to watch I've yet to watch like freak the hunt fear street I'm sure shudder has so many new ones I've missed. Shudder had some original Indonesian films that were f---ing amazing also it's a few years old but it's becoming a cult classic and it's well deserved and that's haunt.

Jul 31, 2021 I really hope they do the new exorcist justice I haven't read much other than it's a direct sequel to the first one. I just don't have much faith in Hollywood to continue movies from the past especially with horror. I feel like I'm the only one who absolutely hated dr sleep lol. Idk if you've tried shudder but you should give it a try it's a streaming service for about 5 dollars that's only horror and ran by amc also tubi tv has a lot of classics and underrated films.
Jul 31, 2021 Right now I don't have the time to watch anything but I really don't want to use my son as an excuse to not take 2 hours to myself to watch a movie when he's older. I want to feel like I still have some what of a life and can do things for myself even simple s--- but the problem for me is introducing him to horror without him being terrified or thinking killing or hurting people is good or okay....seems tricky maybe it's easy idk.
Jul 31, 2021 Well they nailed Halloween 2018! So for that I have faith. Altough an actual sequel needs Linda Blair/Reagan the same way H2018 needed Laurie. Still think if they cut some of the weirdo bs Exorcist 2 could have been a classic.
