Apr 9, 2023 No need Myers I'll tell him exactly why... @Ripper Roo see the first time Myers watched and didn't like cos he literally split up with his boyfriend 2 minutes before the movie started at cinema. Reason why he liked it the 2nd time.. His ex boyfriend serenaded him with I'm A Barbie Girl and they got back together 4 mins before the movie started. As you can see... A pattern is forming here with Myers.
Apr 9, 2023 Don’t worry bro. I plan on watching the Nightmare on Elm Street films soon as well like you recommended to me
Apr 9, 2023 I’ll be paying attention to the actress who played Allyson in this new Halloween trilogy. She kinda hot
Apr 9, 2023 Aight So, I can totally understand people's issues with the movie and agree with some of them. First, Halloween Kills ended with Michael being a supernatural force that nobody can overpower. Then in Ends he was a weak homeless guy that got overpowered by some loser kid (Corey). It was never explained why and just stupid. However, at the end of the movie he was killed but still almost killed Laurie which means he's still harder to k--- than a normal human. But it was still weird after Kills how they treated Michael. 2nd, the movie was advertised as the final showdown between Michael and Laurie. The trailer was also hinting at that. Instead we got a whole new story, with Michael barely in it. Sure, his influence was big and in the end he had the final say, but I totally get people being mad at this change of the story. I do get that they wanted to focus on Michaels curse and effect on the town, which was dope. But I get te anger that it wad about cory too much if people expected Michael. 3rd, like u said the love story took too much time and was kinda boring. But, yes, they had like 13 films of michael terorizing Haddonfield... I get that they needed something new. And despite my first confusing I get it and, its fine. Love most of the movie. I still think 2018 was a great movie and had a great ending, but more Halloween movies is always a yes from me. I think 2018 > Kills=Ends... for different reasons but its a fine trilogy w different qualities and flaws. U need to see the rest of the franchise, but I think they did a great job w this timeline and I will check them every Halloween!
Apr 9, 2023 2018 is Laurie being cautious and ready for war. Kills is Michael on the loose which is always scary and fun. Ends is like the last Star Wars movie, it continues a story, but they had no clue what they were doing imo.
Apr 9, 2023 I think they had an idea with ends but had too little time to explore it... and they rushed it at the end.
Apr 9, 2023 Yeah I asked myself why the f--- is Michael living in a sewer and why is he so weak now? But I was super tired when I watched the movie so I didn’t think about it too much. I just thought maybe most of Michael’s power comes from the mask or something but idk, it doesn’t make sense. You gotta go through a lot of hoops to rationalize it That’s a good point. I completely forgot about the ads. They probably thought most people wouldn’t give a f--- about the actual story I thought it was cute/funny how Michael was basically training him lol
Apr 9, 2023 The last part of your post is why I dislike the movie. It's just dumb as h---. Myers a deranged super evil training up a high school kid to k--- and also become super evil. Yeah, it's a no from me. The other 2 movies were good though... I think they need to leave it half a decade now before doing another Halloween movie. Would love a proper Elm Street reboot now but since Englund is impossible at the minute to replace, it's unlikely. The reason Halloween is so easy to reboot and s--- is because Myers has no face nor any lines. Different for Kruger. Still really sucks that Elm Street reboot might never happen.
