Nov 4, 2023 Yeah I'm a fan of Emma, kinda liked her. The others not so much. But I like the new ideas like the killer streaming the kills and Jill wanting to 'become' Sidney. Also, if you think people survive more now wait till the next ones lmao I think Jenna is cute but don't like her THAT much in 5. In 6 a lot more. Melissa though>>>> But I do think the movies need Sid, Gail (and Dewey). Yeah honestly I gave S3 a 7.5 so its not that I don't like it I do. Perhaps its even tied w 4. They are the 'worst' to me though and the first and 5 the best easily.

Nov 4, 2023 Yes Emma is fine but she didn’t convince me she’s a killa, neither did the dude. And because of that the movie kinda fell apart for me, especially since I wasn’t enjoying it before that. I needed a more passionate, crazy performance from her than we got. Maybe I’ll have to rewatch the movie though

Nov 5, 2023 Scream 5 is a relatively new movie so I’ll give more detailed thoughts on it than I did for the other movies and provide some spoiler warnings. First, some non spoiler thoughts: I enjoyed this movie a lot more than 4, that’s for d--- sure. Might be one of my favs so far Jenna Ortega’s character, Tara, is a f---ing TANK I recognized Wes’s and Mindy’s actors! These new characters are a lot more likable than the ones in 4 Why did this movie make me cry so much? Jenna and Melissa were so good. I loved their chemistry as sisters and their acting I agree with @Michael Myers Melissa is very hot Finally, some spoilers: Spoiler It’s funny how this film addressed some things I was just complaining about in Scream 4. Just when I was complaining about how the killer almost never stabs in the neck, Wes gets stabbed straight through the side of his neck and Sam slices Richie’s neck lmao. Another funny thing is this movie contains the first time I was rooting for Ghostface to k--- someone (that f---er Vince). Also Sid hanging up the phone when the killer calls and saying, “I’m bored” was so me. It’s cool to see how the old characters have progressed. There were so many emotional scenes like Dewey’s death. It took some balls to finally k--- him off. I also cried when Sam was explaining to Tara why dad left. I was so sold on the acting this time on around. The whole thing of Billy Loomis being Sam’s dad and coming to her in hallucinations was cool. I like how by the end she channels that energy into killing the killers rather than killing innocent people like her dad did. Now it’s time I address another complaint I had about Scream 4: the killers. This time around the killers were definitely better, albeit very predictable. Even if the killers ended up being bad, I actually enjoyed the rest of the movie unlike Scream 4, but fortunately the killers were decent in this movie. I wasn’t completely sold on Amber yet and was slightly getting Emma Roberts vibes from the last film but she won me over by the end due to actually having some craziness about her. Richie did a decent job at being psychotic too. Despite the killers being predictable, the movie definitely tries to do a lot of things to throw you off which I appreciate. Overall, I loved Scream 5 and can’t wait to watch Scream 6 within the next few days probably. Then I’ll have to do a ranking
