Nov 17, 2023 To me its kinda similar to Saw / Hostel movies. It relies (for me) too much on disgusting scenes. I know they are more than that but when I watched Terrifier 1 I turned it off when he turned that women upside down and cut her in half lol. I did like the first part where he was creeping.
Nov 17, 2023 Watched the Pope's Exorcist last weekend. It didn't really know if it wanted to be a comedy or a horror... the priest attitude was very corny at times but it made me laugh as well. It wasn't exactly scary but some scenes were well done. The cast did a great job though especially the family. Definitely borrowed some Exorcist scenes. The ending was kinda lame but satisfying. Decent movie. 6,5/10 Also I gave Halloween Ends a 6.5 last month, I do like that one more than the above so thats a 7/10 now.
Nov 19, 2023 Watched The Twin yesterday on Netflix. The first part gave me Midsommar vibes: the scandinavian country, weird and spooky townfolk and of course a great landscape. However where Midsommar is just stupid and very weird, this one is actually creepy too! I wish they didn't make it so 'big' and kept the story smaller. The second half is a little ambitious, which doesn't have to be a bad thing but to me it is here. The ending (twist) is kinda cool but I don't like how the story eventually ends. The twist is not unique (has been done before) but I like how there have been many clues throughout the movie that turned out to be pieces of the puzzle. A little too much, and I didn't like the end really but its fine! 6/10

Nov 19, 2023 The Invisable Man While this may not be a real horror movie (psych thriller) it plays out like one. In the end its more like a futuristic science thing than supernatural. But it is, truly, creepy at some points. I liked it, its almost never boring and the ending is satistying! 7/10
