Apr 27, 2018 Nice! I ordered it gonna receive it may 23rd lol. I like 3. And I I like the OG idea of having a Halloween related movie every year. Of course I'm glad we got Myers back though. Halloween Ressurection was basically a haunted house movie but with Michael instead of a ghost. If u don't link it to the franchise its alright, but its a disgrace to the franchise. I dunno I hate that curse s---. It makes no sense at all lol. I do like parts of the movie a lot and Donald is great in it. Same goes for the kid (Danny) and his mother. And bringing back Tommy Doyle was nice. So yeah average overall I guess. Did you like the remakes? Talk about wasting characters... -if u ignore that they are decent- And yeah as for the new movie.. I'm not surprised if its somehow a little 2018-ish if u know what I mean but I hope it doesn't ruin it. Word. Halloween 4 is great. Danielle Harris did such a good job as well.

Apr 27, 2018 I don't view it as a horror movie (except that the events were of course horror) but with your track record and mentioning this movie u'll understand I thought this was a bait post. Pretty enjoyable imo. Especially the idea is dope as f---.. killer Halloween masks. Execution is decent too.

Also what particular part of the description of the trailer has you guys worried? I read it and it sounded pretty good to me. Maybe besides Michael being incarcerated again. How does that even happen and how do you expect me to believe they let him escape twice?
Apr 27, 2018 I agree. d-ck Warlock wasn’t nearly as good as Nick Castle. He moved so f---ing slow lol. He looked like an animatronic. Like when Michael was walking towards Laurie when she was trying to get into the house he was walking like full speed. When Michael was chasing her through the hospital in 2 he was moving like a snail lol. Also his kills were way too quick. His kills in the original were disturbing because you see him slowly killing his victims in detail (with that eerie breathing sound and Carpenter’s music cues). In 2 I can name a few kills that only last a second or two. Also you’re given no reason to feel bad for the victims. They’re just there for Michael to k--- them. This is where I hope the new film doesn’t f--- up. 2 is still the best sequel to me but it clearly has flaws.

May 3, 2018 I think @M Solo was bothered with the fact that that Laurie has been waiting and “training” for the Michaels return, such as “shooting at targets in the woods” and “setting booby traps”. It does seem slightly silly when you think about it. Laurie Strode was just a normal girl from a quiet neighbourhood. This shouldn’t Be some sort of “revenge action thriller” and I hope it isn’t. I just want to see good old Michael stalking victims and scaring the s--- out of people

May 3, 2018 I don’t think they’re intentionally going for a feminist Halloween movie. I think they’re intending for Laurie to take over the Loomis role since Donald Pleasance is no longer with us. I can kinda dig it. But I can see why people might have a problem with it.

May 4, 2018 If that is really the case then yikes. H20 was really great when it comes to Laurie's reaction. She was an alcoholic really struggling with what happened, having nightmares etc. The only thing that made her fight.. her son. Despite the fact that H20 was kinda boring for the first part it seems more realistic than what they're gonna do now. I still hope its gonna be a great movie though.

And I just realized I never answered you on the remakes. Hated them. I hate Rob Zombie. He did his white trashonization of Halloween and just f---ing lol. He should have been killed for that because I thought it was literally impossible to make a bad Halloween. But, yeah, he did. f--- Rob Zombie.

Laurie was turned into a a slut instead of an innocent girl The guards were turned into r-----ed raping rednecks Loomis was a attention seeking fa---- instead of a caring man Michael was a madman instead of a stalking killer His stepfather.. wtf? What a way to ruin so many amazing characters... f--- that dude. Not to mention how terrrrrrrible H2 was
