    Glad my taste has become so defined lol

    It's literally everything. Every frame is exactly what I want in a movie, like a highlight reel of all my favorites while at the same time not being anything I could have seen or imagined that I wanted.

    Need to watch it about five more times very soon.

    The Nun is more story driven in a way w/ a sprinkle of horror mixed in

    showing way too much of Valak's face in up close shots.. takes away his/her mystique and what made the demon so mysterious in the first place

    It definitely doesn't deserve all of the bad reviews though, it's not great, but it's not horrible either.. I give it a 7/10

    I hated it at first, but it won me over when it gave up the pretension of art and just went full exploitation flick.

    Gave me my Brawl in Cell Block 99 fix.

    haven’t read up in this thread but hereditary is one of the best horror movies i’ve ever seen

    Btw @marshmallow when I return tomorrow ny horror month starts. Gonna watch several horror movies every week (classics and new ones). And it ends on november 1st when I go to the cinema for this movie, Halloween!

    To me they are. Ofc not classics since they're new but to me they are modern day classics. Both very very good and creepy af.

    Also lots of new movies I'm gonna check tho
